I think air defense really shined. Now the question is how do you get a good mix of capabilities and cost. Patriot/THAAD are nice, but you can't afford to smack every shahed with one. Hardening critical infrastructure and capabilities to prevent easy kills by cheap systems is looking wise, as well.

By "fixed" you mean pushed more basic training on the FTUs? We cut an entire phase out of UPT to "fix" it.

Talk to your leadership (more than just the CC, but start there) about why you ranked so low, and how you can improve. Flt/cc is probably the biggest thing. If they don't trust you for that, how can they make you an FGO?

The way you phrase it makes it sound like you have a superiority complex and blame external things when you don't get what you want. That may or may not be true, but that's the one-post impression. If the AF doesn't do it for you, go seek greener pastures. Figure out what is important to you, and go do that. Best wishes that you find what fulfills you.

Sounds like a cost effective plan to make more capable pilots. Im sure the AF will reject it. Details depend a lot on what the MWS community needs. Some sort of medium performance aircraft would make sense. Single-pilot capable, with room for an instructor/mentor seems ideal. ....that all said, this seems like a bandaid for insufficient UPT/FTU training....so, probably spot-on.

There is no Phase III in UPT anymore.
