Rocker, I'm sure you know even better than I, there's a right and a wrong in this world and it doesn't take long to convince most people which side Jane falls on. Give your wife a try, it might be easier than you think.

While I'm not sure that mine understands completely, my four year old (whose goal in life is to be a Raptor pilot) thinks she makes a great target...

Air Force Staff Sgt. Tassi McKee, 26, an intelligence specialist at Fort Meade, Md., said she joined the Air Force because of patriotism, travel and money for college. "After we went to Iraq, I began to see through the lies," she said.
I wonder what's going to happen when she shows up to work on Monday?

"Silence is no longer an option," Fonda said
In California, smaller rallies were held in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento
12-year-old Moriah Arnold stood on her toes to reach the microphone and tell the crowd: "Now we know our leaders either lied to us or hid the truth. Because of our actions, the rest of the world sees us as a bully and a liar."
More Hollywood celebrities showed up at the demonstration than buttoned-down Washington typically sees in a month.
Actor Sean Penn said lawmakers will pay a price in the 2008 elections if they do not take firmer action than to pass a nonbinding resolution against the war, the course Congress is now taking.
Actors Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins also spoke.

Sensitive to the old wounds, she (Fonda) made it a point to thank the active-duty service-members, veterans and Gold Star mothers who attended the rally.
Too little.....way too late Hanoi Jane. Ask the American POW in Vietnam (who was beaten to death after you took the note he passed you about their situation and passed it to the head gook in charge) how he feels about your support of the troops and their families. Rot in hell.

You're the one who joined for "travel".

"I've just gotten tired of seeing widows, tired of seeing dead Marines," said Vincent DiMezza, 32, wearing a dress Marine uniform from his years as a sergeant. A Marine aircraft mechanic from 1997 to 2002, he did not serve in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Noted.

Maybe show up to a revoked security clearance?

And what exactly would an AF "intel specialist" experience in Iraq that would change her mind? No blueberries on her pancakes at the Big Blue Chow Hall? Only 3xXBox 360's per Plasma TV? How about "now that I am CONUS, no one hits on my anymore..."

What kind of name is Tassi, anyways?

What?! There is a 12 y.o. who thinks the war is wrong?? I wonder what he thinks about Power Rangers replacing Pokemon in his favorite Saturday morning cartoon slot. Parents who use thier kids to make political statements should be ashamed of themselves.

Saw this same quote on another fourm, someone answered "Wonder how "tired" he would have been after seein' the results from Iwo, Wake, Peleliu, Guadalcanal, or Tarawa?" I thought it was fitting.

She indeed exists on Global. I initially wanted to post her email and other info, but thought better of it.

If this girl really is who she says she is, she'll probably lose her security clearance and a job.

I can't help to wonder if her comments were taken out of context, though. Nonetheless, she shouldn't have been there to begin with. Perception is reality.

Tassi Mckee:

I am an active duty servicemember, and I support support John Kerry and his statements. What he said is the truth. I myself joined the military from a small town in Louisiana. Most of the people I graduated did, because if you didn't, you weren't going to go very far in life.

I am lucky that I work as a linguist in military intelligence. I have a very unique job. This alone has kept me off the Iraqi battlefield and physically safe behind a computer.

This is what John meant. If you don't study hard before or during your military service, the army will use you to check for landmines.

This chick is obviously just making public statement in hopes of getting out of the military. I hope it doesn't backfire too badly.

A quick 5 minutes google search reveals postings on gay rights message boards to disassociative identity disorder message boards...

That just has to be her purpose. Politcs, homoseuals and mental disorders...and I didn't even read through alot of the 10,000+ hits her name comes up with...

Wow. Not the brightest girl.

A little humor in the whole Tassi Mckee situation. Ft George Meade is also the home of the Defense Information School (DINFOS) which is the joint public affairs tech school. I can't believe she hasn't been tackled, tied-up and thrown in a a dark room somewhere.
