A-10 sporting two drone kills

Bothe the War Zone and the Mover and Gronky show report an A-10 sporting two drone kills on its nose.

The kills were allegedly performed by APKWS II 2.75” (70mm) laser guided rockets. If true this offers a much more cost effective alternative to shooting down drones.

They have been employed on most fighters in the fleet now.

AGR-20 has been one of the best weapons we’ve produced in a long time.

It could be an F load better if we’d drop the “smokeless” requirement from the next version and tell the EPA to accept some new cocktails in its production.

They’ve got a motor and flight profile modification to the software that nearly doubles the range for the same mass.

You are right, I thought these were limited to slow movers like the A-10 and helicopters due to the barn door aerodynamics of the rocket pod but they have been used on F-16 and F/A-18.

These would definitely have been a more cost effective answer when we shot down those Chinese Spy balloons over Lake Huron, Alaska, Canada, and North Carolina.

You are right, I thought these were limited to slow movers like the A-10 and helicopters due to the barn door aerodynamics of the rocket pod but they have been used on F-16 and F/A-18.
These would definitely have been a more cost effective answer when we shot down those Chinese Spy balloons over Lake Huron, Alaska, Canada, and North Carolina. 

You probably just solved for X on why we can’t seem to get any further investment into them.

For less than the price of a Hellfire I can get 3 of these with a dual mode fire and forget guidance section, but all anybody wants to talk about is how great JAGM will be someday.
