I have been watching this development over the last few days with many European News outlets calling these drones over airports “attacks” since they are disrupting critical airspace.
It’s hard to judge the size but they appear to be much larger than the typical quadcopter size of hobby drones!

On an unrelated topic, the Danish PM is pretty hot!

Next 9/11: drone swarms targeting airliners, first or second climb segments, most vulnerable.

Simultaneous execution across a dozen or more airports before NAS can react and shut down.

Clancy predicted 9/11 methodology seven years prior.

Why would you bother trying to hit a moving target?  Just hit them on the taxi if you're going after airliners.  Would take a small bit of explosive added to drone.

I was at Stansted a day after Trump and they stopped all traffic for a drone flying around.

Two Ryan Air went around and departures stacked up about 12 deep. I can't imagine the chaos if it was Heathrow instead...or a day earlier when POTUS was there.

Sadly, this will probably become more and more prevalent. We will soon miss the days of only a moronic jet pack guy farting around final.

The suspicion is that these drones are Russian but my bet is on FAA drones like the ones over Lagney and Wright-Patterson!

By the time a 4th location has an airliner explode and burn on the runway it would institute a ground stop that would last days.

We need to seriously think about how ready to escalate to mass casualties any opponent would be with us. 1-4 airliners full of injured people would overwhelm local response at any major metro area… for tens of thousands of dollars you could neutralize air travel across a continent if you were so bold to chose that as your method of delivery.

Shutting down Honalulu, Narita, Ninoy Aquino for 72-96 hours would be a hell of a problem to solve while we don’t make positive movements to solve the other big one.

"Drones over Denmark" sounds like the name of an Outkast song.

Apparently Germany is now getting the mysterious drone incursion treatment as well with no clear answers from where they are originating from or how to deal with them and probably too proud to ask the Polish.

Now Denmark is saying the drones were just ordinary aircraft flying over the airport!  I guess no one bothered to ask the tower or ATC?

To be fair, the Danes said that some of these drones are aircraft and others still remain unidentified but it looks likes they have backed off labeling them as “attacks”.

According to this video many of these drone incursions predate the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
