HeyEng Posted Friday at 07:15 PM Posted Friday at 07:15 PM I have been watching this development over the last few days with many European News outlets calling these drones over airports “attacks” since they are disrupting critical airspace. It’s hard to judge the size but they appear to be much larger than the typical quadcopter size of hobby drones! https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4g96gvql99o.amp

BFM this Posted Friday at 09:54 PM Posted Friday at 09:54 PM Next 9/11: drone swarms targeting airliners, first or second climb segments, most vulnerable. Simultaneous execution across a dozen or more airports before NAS can react and shut down. Clancy predicted 9/11 methodology seven years prior.

Just hit them on the taxi if you're going after airliners. Would take a small bit of explosive added to drone.
StoleIt Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I was at Stansted a day after Trump and they stopped all traffic for a drone flying around. Two Ryan Air went around and departures stacked up about 12 deep. I can't imagine the chaos if it was Heathrow instead...or a day earlier when POTUS was there. Sadly, this will probably become more and more prevalent. We will soon miss the days of only a moronic jet pack guy farting around final.
HeyEng Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago The suspicion is that these drones are Russian but my bet is on FAA drones like the ones over Lagney and Wright-Patterson!
