Minot B-52 Near Miss

A Minot B-52 and Skywest RJ had a “near miss” which required the Skywest to maneuver abruptly. No ADS-B data is available yet to see just how close they got.

Buff was doing a flyover for the state fair about a mile off the approach end of 31 while the 175 was on short final. All this happened between 500-1000 agl. It probably was a bit sporty.

I watched the Mover and Gonky podcast on this incident, they basically said the same thing! It’s always good to keep the PA announcements short and sweet!
