LFA7Roundabout
The jungle drums are beating in the UK planespotting community with the rumours of some USMC F-18's that are visiting Lakenheath to fly through the "Roundabout" in LFA7 in the coming weeks If anyone would be kind enough to confirm this either way then please can you drop me a pm Thanks in advance Alex

Bender
Doesn't this question come up every year around this time? I never know the answer, but a search would yield those who have (and have not) given useful answers in the past. Why I would know anything about the whereabouts of F-18s is still my guess; Even if I was using their call sign the other day...oops. Do the search, buddy and see what you come up with. I know you've asked before, but I wouldn't expect much more than you gotten in the past. Bendy

Toro
"Where are your planes, and can I go there and count them?" LFA7 is legit (anyone who has flown in England knows what his name means). He's gotten some great shots in the Mach Loop.
LockheedFix
So say you were stationed at a base that rhymes with Schmamstein. How hard would it be to schedule this Mach Loop for a local trainer?
schokie
Easy. The briefing and scheduling requirements for non-UK based aircraft is in the Low Fly Handbook. Call one of the sq at Lakenheath or the MC-130 sq at mildenhall for the gouge. PM me if you need a number.
WHAP
Like he said, call us, it's easy to set up, easier than flying low level in Germany anyways, and the US. Edited to say PM me as well Edited September 27, 2014 by WHAP
