The end of Private Ryan, oh man. I saw that with some pipe hittin', hard mothers, and we all just sat there.......speechless. No movement, no eye contact with each other, afraid that we might see each other crying.....because we all were.

Like B52Gator, there are wayyyyyy too many to choose from - gotta like though the good old fashioned MITO takeoff..:) Ah, those were the days..water injection on a hot day...

And this one - not a war movie scene, but it's really well done...

Sniper scene from Black Hawk Down.

100% true American heroes.

Ah, it's too bad political correctness has virtually eliminated that kind of training.

My favorite war scene is the last scene of The Green Berets, starring John Wayne, where the Duke's character walks down to the beach with the Vietnamese orphan. The orphan asks "What will happen to me now?" and the Duke responds "Let me worry about that Green Beret (as he is putting the late Peterson's beret on the boy) and then says "You're what this is all about." They then walk into the sun on the beach to the playing of the last stanza of the Green Beret song. This movie was the Duke's answer to the antiwar movement in Hollywood.

Its on YouTube, but I'm too internet incompetent to upload the video.

The other scenes mentioned on this threat are all good. The boot camp scenes (R.Lee Ermey again)from the Boys in Company C are also worth mentioning.
