On the original subject of the Navy getting a few ST's, a family friend out in the Virginia Beach area said he saw some "T-6 look'n things with weapons" on the ramp recently. Dunno if it was at NAS Norfolk or Oceana.

Will try and find out more...

HAHA, I can't believe the 319th called themselves that......utterly hilarious!

That moniker was bestowed on the 319th by some nameless retard from another squadron. We do not EVER refer to ourselves that way and anyone who does will pay the price.

The Navy's Super T's (A-29 Tucano) fly out of Oceana at times so probably Oceana.

Enforcer would be cool too. Just put a second seat in the PA-48, just like those Mustangs that have been modded for a back seat. Ya gotta build em up from the scratch anyway. That would be bad-ass. As a tail dragger it be able to take crappy fields better than a tri-gear airplane.

The Enforcer was designed/overseen by the same guy who performed most of those 2-seat P-51 conversions back in the 60s. In fact, it was intended to be a 2-seat aircraft from the beginning (although the two prototypes weren't).

The earlier "PE-2 Enforcer" aircraft that was built about 10 years prior to the PA-48s was a full dual control aircraft.
