August 1, 200520 yr Our Tones on XC at MidAmerica/Scott AFB with the F-16s that flew the Flyover for the St. Louis NASCAR race yesterday:
August 2, 200520 yr OEF sightseeing in JATWISH, but not where you would think. That's one malnourished camel. They all looked like that.
August 2, 200520 yr 160th fly by. I took the pic from the ramp of my plane and zoomed it in as close as I could. One of only a handful of times I flew in the daytime other than at the schoolhouse. It was wierd seeing colors other than green when you fly. [ 02. August 2005, 16:42: Message edited by: gabe2surf ]

August 6, 200520 yr "Old Russian" Mig 21. Photo was taken at Entebbe, Uganda...These are the only fixed wing airplanes in the Ugandan Air Force. On the day these were taken (30 May 05), the "student" pilot (silver jet) was only 16 years old - and didn't have a drivers license.
February 18, 200817 yr Thread Revival! Got a slide show called "Military Hardware" with a bunch of great pictures from all the services. Right click to download, but here's some samples - Navy Marines Army Air Force pics are the best of the lot - you'll have to download to check them out.
February 18, 200817 yr September 12th, 2001. It was an early morning flight out to Andrews AFB to lend any assistance we could. It was the quietest flight I've ever had. I snapped this photo as the sun came up over DC. We flew right by the still-smoldering Pentagon and saw the damage first-hand.
February 18, 200817 yr The AF photos are some of the best I've seen. Thanks for that Toro. Here's one for you that I took a couple months ago... Here's another I took...
February 18, 200817 yr Not quite as interesting as some of the military hardware, but here are a few gliding photos. Trying to keep cool on one of the rare hot days in England Taking off into the wild blue yonder. Riding the thermals over Cambridgeshire
February 18, 200817 yr first 3 are from when I augmented with the 210 RQS up in AK a couple years ago. That's me in the first one. Bottom pic is when we flew "near" the Grand Canyon returning home from Desert Rescue in '05
January 9, 200916 yr Author I was looking for an excuse to post some newer pictures...this thread bump suffices. Used my crappy camera, so not as good as I would like...
January 10, 200916 yr Thought I'd upload some pics for you guys before I go. None of these are mine, just cool ones I've picked up throughout the years. and my favorite Edit: To many to post. Edited January 10, 200916 yr by donkey
January 12, 200916 yr A few out the window over the Hudson River by Manhattan... Passing over the George Washington Bridge (I-95) World Trade Center Statue of Liberty Looking up the East River - Manhattan on the left The closest to a carrier I'll ever fly
January 13, 200916 yr Not my pics but I like them. The first two A-10 pics are jets from the 111 FW out of Willow Grove, which is due to have their planes taken away sometime in the next year or so. I've been watching them fly over my house as long as I can remember and they were my motivation to join the Air Force and become a pilot. Sad to think that now as I'm at the start of my Air Force career, these jets will flying low and slow over the Philadelphia area for the final time. And to add to the mix, some classic warbirds from the WW2 Airshow in Reading, PA
January 13, 200916 yr IL-76 on the ramp at Pease ANGB, NH Getting picked up by a NH Army Guard UH-60 after some recon work for setting up a mobile control tower A lap of New Hampshire Motor Speedway From departure off runway 34 at Pease - NHANG KC-135's Portland Head Light, Cape Elizabeth, Maine - the most photographed lighthouse in the world New destroyer under construction at Bath Iron Works
