Good luck with that. While I agree hiring info gets stale over time, there is some merit in what was presented over those several dozen pages. I guess we can all now tune in to the noise over at APC while the BODN thread regenerates.

Am I completely losing my mind, or is the “Leaving the Air Force for the Airlines” thread gone? Is big blue trying to squash the exodus by quietly censoring BO.net? We wouldn’t want to allow those still on active duty the resources necessary to make an educated decision about their career paths (that happens during mid-term OPR feedback). What am I missing?

The next logical step is “Test group to skip flying airplanes all together”. Anyone who’s played “Top Gun” on the NES should go direct to left seat in the C-17 for some night AR. This has become the definition of grasping for straws.

Month and a half after implementation and still getting the old rate at my Guard base. Anyone else’s finance still unable to unfuck this situation? And they wonder why no one wants to stick around.

On another note... As a SWA guy, I personally (among others from various work groups with whom I've spoken) would like to see the company pull the plug on its sponsorship of the NFL. Unfortunately, I don't think Kelly and crew are ready to test that whole risk/reward scenario.

Us airline guys will just have to settle for the "puppet" and "bus driver" pay/schedule versus the T-6 triple-turns your Flt/CC and IP's are doing in the July heat. We all make decisions and we have to be ready to face the consequences. Now, back to boat shopping...

Yeah. Makes me wonder how management is going to sweep this one under the rug. Right now I envision a dozen execs at HQ/AMC/AETC hurriedly filtering their boss's e-mail before he checks his/her Blackberry (or whatever they use these days) while on he 7th hole.
