Air Force Reinstate Captain Selection Boards
Probably none, but I know of some good Do Not Promote candidates; I'll keep you posted.

Ammo against the shoe clerks!
Jango needed a friend on the board to back him/her up, so he/she thought it would be helpful to create another alias "redmammal," thinking that no one would figure it out. Because no one has ever done that.

Ammo against the shoe clerks!
When is your enlistment up? Send out a save the date, I can't wait. One more hurdle we won't have to jump over to get the mission done. Cut all this "I'm for the mission" crap, you've already described earlier in this thread you won't flex to help the ops out.

It probably won't make much of a difference, really.

Leadership at the 'Deid
These stats probably don't exist. I can imagine them pulling up Band Of Brothers, scrolling forward to Moose Heyliger being shot by friendly forces, and saying, "if Moose had been wearing one, it wouldn't have happened."

Desert PT Testing
He ran 1.5 miles in 8:30, and lost 13 points on the waist? I'd have to see it to believe it. Edit: dyslexia

ACLU and CCR recently lanuched a legal challenge to the military targeting American al Qaeda members. Awlaki vs. Predator: Other lawyer-types say : "American members of al Qaeda aren't merely criminal suspects. They're active enemy combatants who can be targeted like other terrorists." It's a subscription-restricted article, so here's the text; I thought it was interesting. As for the ACLU, WTF.

Article: Giant Mecca Clock Seeks to Call Time on Greenwich BL: "Scientists" would like the world to start new days based on Arabian Standard Time, to now be defined from the 2000ft clock, instead of GMT( or UTC really, but in either case it resides at 0 Longitude). Here's the real winner: If there were no magnetic variation there (which there is), you might be able to claim the first bolded part, but the lack of magnetic force and lessened effects of gravity are just ridiculous. Edit: A native Saudi who views the clock itself with disdain

Nellis/Vegas info
Appears to be a Green Flag going on right now, with Red Flag starting next week. That should provide some entertainment around Nellis. KLSV Flying Operations

Lower fuel burn would be one reason.

That's when the flag came up; first I'd heard of it. Thanks. The more you know.

Here's an interesting new policy regarding savings accounts from USAA: Unfortunately, this seems to be valid. From Title 12, Part 204 "Regulation D"

Info on Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS/UAV/RPA)
ACC A3 said that soon (relative, because it has been said for years) when they reach the 10 crews per cap, that cross flow boards will open up and the ops sqs will start to get much-needed CT lines. The caveat is that the rate of returns to airframes (anyone not out of UPT) is not guaranteed to be very high. The "non-competitive" boards will consider the dude's potential for leadership growth in the UAV community versus in their respective airframe. If you're a Pred superstar, it sounded like they would keep you around to keep experience and leadership in the UAVs. However, he said slacking off won't help your case either. If they deem it will not benefit you to return to your airframe from a career perspective, you are also screwed. Personal preference was stated to be a consideration, but that remains to be seen. Almost everyone. He also mentioned that Creech WG/CC has the option to keep anyone he wants if it is someone they think will be good for the UAV community (see above), but it should be a fairly high percentage. Everyone also has the option to stay...
