High number of pax only if everyone has a seat and there's no cargo. USAF carries 92 pax max, and up to a max gross weight of 155k (175k wartime). If there was cargo and pax onboard, the pax were likely sitting on the floor/on each other's lap.

So you're saying that it's the commander's job to solve everyone's problems? Holy crap--no wonder the AF is getting so effed up! Tell me you're not a commander..."The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership."

have your CC call their CC, to ensure support on Fri for you. You should not have to jump through hoops on your PCS because of poor planning on their part. Seriously.
BS. Handle it yourself, and only get your commander involved when all else fails. People need to start acting like grown ups and quit running to the CC or CCF with every little issue...

Do you know of folks who completed the flight portion with an FAA Examiner on board? That was always the hurdle no one could clear...

Best, most concise response.
For all you guys encouraging Rainman: don't. While much of his advice is timeless, another big part is obsolete and no longer welcome in today's Air Force. Call it bullying, or sexism, or whatever you want, but that behavior isn't smart these days, and he sensed it soon before leaving.
You know him personally?

You can also make O-6 after being relieved as a Sq/CC. There was one person on the last LAF O-6 select list who fits in that category.
Not that rare--just need a sponsor. I can name at least 6...

The other option (not a good one) is to go on the assignment unaccompanied. I only mention it FYSA, because when I got orders to Yokota, my son was denied medical clearance and AFPC attempted to force me to go unaccompanied for 2 years. It was eventually turned off, but something you may want to be ready to fight...

Wow...why do you know that? That you do if you're not a former cop is kind of a what's wrong with the air force thing, I think.
Or a commander...think before you speak.

Same thing with the USAREUR CSM out of Macedonia back in the mid 90s. Traveling out of country with the troops doing the job. No special treatment wanted or needed--the most down-to-earth, professional soldier I ever met.
