  1. Someone get your boy in check. The parade is on, boys. Gotta stroke that ego. Fiscally responsible my ass. The wasted money in manhours and logistics alone... https://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/23/trump-military-parade-veterans-day-423405
  2. In my case, I took a larger percentage of our debt in order for her to not take a portion of my TSP. Is she seeking alimony? If she wants a clean break with long drawn out court battle, her best bet is to forego alimony. Unless she gave up going to college or passed on a high level career for your career, IMO she shouldn't be asking for it. It was 3 years... is her ability to obtain a career severely diminished? Doubtful. Yeah I think I jumped the gun a bit on that. So IF she wanted to fight it she could be eligible for 7.5% of your retired pay.
  3. What you just said is made up. The Republican memo was absolutely vetted by the DOJ and FBI. The looked at it yes. And they had this to say about it "...we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy." Meaning they said it is cherry picked to give the appearance other than what really happened.
  4. Meanwhile a spending plan has been approved that'll cost us a trillion dollars in new debt. But don't worry Republicans have announced a plan to pretend to be fiscally conservative again the moment a Democrat takes office.
  5. She'd still be entitled to his reserve retirement when he hits 60.
  6. Talk. Talk with friends, counselors, mentors, whomever... just don't let depression get ahold of you. If you have guns in the house, ask a friend to hold them for you for awhile. The stress of going through the break up will cause you to not sleep very well and could affect your appetite. Those two things can mess with your head and put you in a dark place you wouldn't ordinarily go to. Don't jump into a new relationship right away. You will need time to grieve and heal. As much as I despise them, go through a lawyer. They'll think of things to cover in the divorce agreement you'd never think of covering.... all of it to CYA. She's not entitled to any of your retirement (must be married a minimum of 10 years during your service) so don't let her go down that road. Everything else should be split 50/50- assets AND debts.
  7. Ignoring the fact that Carter Page's testimony corroborated parts of the dossier. Just because other parts of the dossier have yet to be corroborated, that doesn't mean it's manufactured or untrue. It could be, but it may not be as well. *ahem* https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/obama-administration-announces-measures-to-punish-russia-for-2016-election-interference/2016/12/29/311db9d6-cdde-11e6-a87f-b917067331bb_story.html?utm_term=.bf14b5e152c5
  8. Yep. I think you found some common ground for the Dems and GOP to work from. The Dems history and the current GOP have a mutual connection in that regard. Maybe that connection can be a catalyst to getting a damn budget passed (one that omits a line item for military parades).
  9. I doubt that'll get approved. White hoods, however, have blanket approval.
  10. They chose that. They're also blasting David Bowie through the speakers and have "Made on Earth by humans" imprinted on the circuit boards. I think the coolest thing was watching those twin side boosters come in for a simultaneous landing autonomously. Too bad the main booster was lost.
  11. This will be good for morale. http://www.kctv5.com/story/37443016/trump-tells-pentagon-to-plan-a-military-parade
  12. Ahahahahaha I just now caught what I typed. I actually meant this Paul Bannon, because those Scottish marathoners are known for their insider knowledge- http://www.scottishdistancerunninghistory.scot/paul-bannon/
  13. Conveniently leaving out the rest of the news articles I posted. Head in the sand.
  14. "You realise where this is going…This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose Weissman first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to fucking Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner…It’s as plain as a hair on your face…It goes through Deutsche Bank and all the Kushner shit. The Kushner shit is greasy. They’re going to go right through that. They’re going to roll those two guys up and say play me or trade me." - Trump's right hand man Paul Bannon Also https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-russia-fusion/sales-of-trump-properties-suggestive-of-money-laundering-researcher-idUSKBN1F727X https://www.npr.org/2018/01/17/577624204/as-trump-enters-year-two-in-office-mueller-looking-at-money-laundering http://www.newsweek.com/deutsche-bank-willing-report-jared-kushners-suspicious-transactions-robert-786011 https://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/10/russia-probe-senate-requests-documents-from-money-laundering-watchdog-agency.html
  15. Don't be surprised if the investigation reveals a huge chunk of Trump's wealth was gained via money laundering, specifically laundering for Russians.
  16. Where did I say I was? I just wondered why his supporters back him not following the rule of laws. Congress seemed fit to pass this law for a reason. Trump himself signed it, then refuses to act in accordance with it. Why? And don't tell me it's because he's trying to not escalate conflicts. That's b.s..
  17. They'll pay BAH type II and you can purchase TRS on the cheap.
  18. Used as justification to -extend- an already in place FISA warrant. Used because it corroborated other intel they had. I guess the FBI should ignore additional evidence that appears to corroborate intel they had from now on? It's grotesquely funny how some people bend over backwards for the guy (Trump). There's mountains of evidence that multiple members of his campaign and inner council were in bed with the Russians. His son meeting with the Russians. A made up story about adoptions, when what was being discussed was quid pro quo (promise to drop sanctions and we'll give you a ton of dirt on Clinton). Have you asked yourself WHY the President has failed to follow up on sanctioning Russia? That law was passed by a near unanimous vote in the House and Senate, yet the white house has decided they'll just ignore that. Why is that?
  19. If it's fiction, then it's really weird that Carter Page's testimony corroborated certain details in the dossier. I guess Steele is really good at making stuff up that actually occurred.
  20. A phony GPS Fusion document? You mean the one the memo states has been minimally corroborated? Weird that a FAKE document, as you say, has had some things in it corroborated. The thing is the FISA warrant was given to spy on Carter Page WELL before he was in Trump's camp. You can dream up whatever fantasy you want, the rest of us are living in the real world.
  21. There's opinion and there's history. It's a fact Carter Page was under a FISA warrant surveil that started in 2014. It's a fact that Trump wasn't a candidate then. The memo omits that and instead implies the FISA warrant was initiated in 2016 after Trump was a candidate... That's not an opinion. It's also not an opinion that the Steele dossier was first commissioned by Republicans. The only opinion in my statement was that the memo was altered in order to persuade people... but if that's not the case, what was the reason for omitting facts that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy?
  22. You see that because the memo omitted facts in order to give people like you that impression... For example the fact the dossier was first commissioned by the Republicans and that the FISA had been ongoing well before Trump was a candidate. The fact that McCain and Gowdy are publicly dismissing this memo and still back Mueller as an unbiased investigator is pretty telling.
  23. Very underwhelming considering the hype that was coming from the right about this. It's essentially a hit piece trying to discredit Steele by saying he's biased against Trump. Well, that's like saying that cops are biased against criminals. Steele felt like the US was in danger and that the information he had was reliable. Of course he viewed Trump as a threat. It claims he's an unreliable source because he talked to the media, not that his information is bad or unreliable. The memo omits certain information to alter people's perception of the timeline. It talks about the dossier being used by the FBI to get a FISA warrant against Carter Page in 2016 in an effort to take down Trump's campaign run. The reality is Carter Page was under a FISA warrant since 2014, well before Trump entered the race. The dossier was used to get an extension on that FISA warrant, not that it was used to create a warrant. The memo even goes on to state the dossier has been corroborated, if even "minimally".
  24. Cut the orders for just the duty days is another way around it. M-F on orders, S-S no orders (unless flying etc), that'll stretch those orders out a bit longer but will also get you out of the 180+ continuous days bind. You'll need to go home every weekend unless you want to pay out of pocket for a room... but getting roundtrip mileage every week for that distance is a bonus. The crappy thing would be doing all the DTS authorizations for every set of orders.
  25. Yes, thank you DJT. It's obvious from this graph that it was HIS policies that clearly created this trend that lowered the unemployment rates for blacks. Proof positive there's not a racist bone in his body. /sarcasm
