  10. How would a Ph.D from AFIT fit into ones career. I am a 2lt going through SUPT, currently holding a masters. At what point, if interested, would be a good time to apply to AFIT. Junior/senior captain, or sooner? R

    Four Loko

Foko is pretty much awesome. http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1943435
  12. This video should be taken into consideration before embarking to said ASBC.
  13. I would flight doc it man. Failing a PFA because of an injury you knew you had and didn't go in for...weak. I would say stay off it for another 2 weeks and see how it feels. 1 week prior to your fit test (if it still hurts) hit up the doc...More than likely you won't even get the DNIF.
  14. So..how do I not have my dates? Grad May 8 EAD May 13 ASBC RNLT May 20, class start May 24 ASBC grad July 1 RNLT July 2, Columbus AFB
  15. Isn't flight pay only a couple hundred extra bucks a month?? I think $125 for a new Lt...this should be raised.
  16. Thank you. This has helped a lot. I have gone through my schools IRB, but still they are (my committee) requesting I get USAF IRB approval before I conduct the study. All it really is, is a human subject survey (anonymous of course). I have requested a "expedited" review and approval. Not sure how expedited that will really be. Also, the squadron commander recommended I do not go through the IRB because of the lengthy process. Just trying to stay out of dirty water before I am even commissioned. Thank you again for your help. BTW - avatar is being changed...soon....probably. Sorry guys. Riebs
  17. All, I know this forum is mainly geared towards pilot talk, but perhaps someone out there may be able to assist. I am a current ROTC masters student (heading to Columbus AFB hopefully before the next millennium), in the process of writing a thesis. I was curious if anyone who has done the same and has used/gone-through the USAF Institutional Review Board...or knows how to submit/get approval for human subject proposals, or knows their basic protocol. Last I heard they were located out at Brooks city-base...but that may have changed, according to the site and the PR lady located there. Any information would be of great help. Thanks. Riebs
  18. Cause this thread isn't a waste of time....

  24. I've been on both! Top Gun in Norcal and that dueling dragons one in Fl...... The one you're talking about exists! 2 tracks...launched simultaneously..kinda like a race. Designed kinda like the Superman ride at Magic Mountain in SoCal. Paint scheme looks like the Thunderbirds...but have a basic 'jet' frame. There was a good picture in an old aviation week a few months back.
  25. One more thing. Anyone know if I need to report into my COC or back at my Det for like a FT de-brief? My FTO at camp said we all would need to do that post-FT. Not sure. Rieboldt
