My current prediction is that the GOP picks up 1-2 seats in the Senate. As far the House, I have done some research on some individual races that are competitive/Dems believe they'll flip, but have obviously not researched to the extent of the professionals. That being said, my current prediction is that the GOP loses the House by a few seats. I imagine it will be a late Tuesday night in a little over a couple of weeks. It will be interesting to see if Ginsburg or Breyer leaves SCOTUS in the next couple of years...or if Thomas retires early so Trump can name his replacement.

Why are you purchasing such an expensive car that you can't just afford outright without a loan?
-
No, I'm suggesting then suggesting that you don't buy a new car.
-
A little more than two weeks out from the midterms--any projections?
-
No...it makes no damn sense to spend money you don't have on a luxury item. What other luxury items (especially those that depreciate) are you ok with purchasing that requires a loan with interest?
-
You can't buy a 2006 Honda Accord for a few thousand dollars? Kelley Blue Book says you can.
-
Why would you buy a new car for $58K if you don't have the cash and your investments/savings aren't in solid position? This is what you guys are missing: An expensive car (i.e. one that you cannot afford to pay cash) is a luxury item, and one that will begin to lose its value relatively quickly. Why are people purchasing luxury items on credit, incurring additional debt with interest payments, instead of saving/investing the money, paying down your house, etc? And we wonder why so many American (2/3 plus) do not have more than a few months income in savings. Live within your means, make smart/mature decisions, and make your money work for you.
-
We're not talking about buying a house. Why would you borrow money to purchase a vehicle when a vehicle that costs just a few thousand dollars (or much less) will work? I'm all for buying nice cars (i.e. toys), but not when you don't have the money.
-
You think it's a bad idea to have a credit card and pay it off every month? Why?
-
Are you suggesting it's a good idea to spend money you don't have and incur even more debt on a depreciating asset vs buying a vehicle that you can afford without incurring any debt?
-
Not at all.
-
I would strongly advise not to take out a loan to purchase a car.

How does a prior-MWS guy who still has 3+ years left on their initial 10 year ADSC 7-day opt out of going to Laughlin? By the way, I know for a fact that MWS guys are going to Laughlin. Stop talking out of your ass or relaying information from guys talking out of their ass.

Yet Gorsuch only received 3 votes from the Democrats. Please...
-
Kind of like how Hillary Clinton's testimony went several years ago. Oh well...at this point, what difference does is make?
-
Well, you got your investigation...now comes the vote. Democrats overplayed their hand.

Don't blame Deborah James for our current pilot crisis...she was focusing on the real problems in the Air Force. https://www.airforcetimes.com/education-transition/jobs/2015/03/04/air-force-secretary-announces-bold-moves-to-boost-women-minorities/

Ok...so what is the credible evidence that these allegations are true? I have yet to see such evidence and have actually heard people deny that's the allegations are true just based off the simple logistics of who was where and when. If there is credible evidence out there then why is it being withheld? By the way, when is Keith Ellison dropping out of the MN AG race and resigning his position with the DNC? Exactly...

It's a good thing that I serve in a professional organization that only judges people on their merit and not the color of their skin...

If public schools are worth attending then why do so many wealthy progressives send their children to private schools?
-
Do you honestly believe that the decision to train/not train internationals at UPT is made at the HAF level?
-
Oh please...progressives don't care about maintaining the integrity of government anymore than statists who self identify as conservatives. Just look at the IRS scandals, Fast and Furious, Obama's Attorney General refusing to cooperate with releasing government records to Congress, and on and on. So don't give me the "it's different now" BS. I'm not a fan of the political games/nonsense when Trump does it anymore than when the same was done by his predecessors. But to say that it's worse today than a few years ago just goes to show your bias. You don't like Trump because he signed a tax cut, has reversed many of Obama's executive orders/allowed for more deregulation, gets to put put at least two new conservatives on the Supreme Court, etc. You have even recently said yourself that our gun rights need to be reduced...again, you're a progressive, so I just see everything you post regarding Trump as bias. I, on the other hand, can tell you that there are many of Trump's policies that I disagree with and think is causing some harm to the country in some areas, while at the same time see thst some of his policies are improving quite a few things from just a few years ago. As for Trump himself, he's not anything close to as classy as Obama or Bush when it comes to speaking/rhetoric...but I've learned over the last couple of decades that actions speak a lot louder than words.
