  1. Are you a part timer (DSG) or AGR? If AGR, the day after you retire at 20. Of DSG, it's all about points, it's like 7500 points for a full retirement, and of you can get there( I've seen it ), then you can get a check right away. If not, it will be a percentage of a full AD retirement at 60.
  2. 4.5 years at KDLF, never saw a washout come back through, how about no, UPT instructors already put in their time, you didn't hack it. I have your guards right here next to your half ass swing, but I'm no Eagle dude, so your going to have to settle with your bag of Cheetos and an orange dick. I'd curse more at Rainman but he's heard it all before.
  3. Where's Toro on this subject? I hear he is an expert.
  4. East Coast Noble Eagle at 1 in the morning.... JAX: You all have GE motors on dem thangs? Me: Yes sir, GE-129's JAX: I used to work Pratts on F-14s, they were crap Me: We like the GEs Jax: Well you keep it sunny side up Me: Thanks
  5. Everyone told me I wasn't going to get it either, I did. My sep code was for VSP, on the first day of freedom I went to the MPF to get my new ID card and they printed me a TAMP card and told me I was eligible. My wife used it and it worked great.
  6. Is the U-28 a MWS or is this a sign the dude will be back to the RPA in a few years?
  7. Was that some sort of top gun reference?
  8. Clearance, I'd like IFR direct to Tehran. Non standard 6-9 miles wide, block 25-29 with deviations approved for 10-35 for threat reactions. Sure I'll squak that mode 3 and C and can I get flight following while in Iran airspace? My gross weight might change dramatically during flight, as well as my true airspeed.
  9. I'll bite.....Muscle2002 thought he had knowledge of how to land the Viper, but then called it the Fighting Falcon, something a real F-16 pilot would never say. My point was that he was NOT a Viper pilot but somebody that learned it on Falcon 4.0, or rumor, or WOM. So I told the forum what we really called it, and tried to call him out as a fake/wannabe. Turns out he is a fighter pilot.....I always preferred lawn dart.
  10. You did miss the point, because you wanted or expected this to be a dick measuring contest. It wasn't.
  11. And we call them Vipers. What do you fly?
  12. Ive seen it on 29 and 11, and I have done the practical SFO formation full stop to 11, I was just wondering why the airliners deal with it.
  13. Costco sells a kit, shelf life of like 50 years.
  14. Did you enter AD from your home of record or commissioning source? They will pay to move you back there or anywhere a less distance than that. Thats what I understood from the separation people. I'd still look at the reg but this is good rumor.
  15. What is the deal with the steep, S'ing down final, the airlines have to deal with at Tucson? Is that standard? I see it holding short and wonder if all the PAX are getting sick. (I know, small thread derail).
  16. Rainman would tell you to show up to the schoolhouse and announce your entrance, they'll just throw you in the next class.
  17. Or do both and land at the correct airport.
  18. Did you look at the price man!! The only reason we would spend that much money is for some sort of "green" initiative, which I am arguing is cost prohibitive. Knock it off until the price comes down, and the government buying it will not make that happen. When it's CHEAPER, then buy it, I'd imagine that won't happen for 200 years.
  19. HUD doesn't have a steer point indication in it?
  20. It also matters if global warming is real and they actually are "fossil fuels". Look up fact vs theory.
  21. Par for the course the last couple of years
  22. That really screws me up while reading on an IPad
  23. Using Captain Graphite is a easy way to stay current, but don't do it. If you are being told to log what you didn't do, simply refuse. "Higher ups" may push back once or twice, but they know they can't do shizzle to you past that. They are telling you to lie and they know it. Even better is to get the whole squadron on board, but that wold require leadership.
