The black populace, that I see on TV, out rioting and looting are 90% under 35. They have no idea what it was like living in a segregated country or Jim Crow laws. I agree the treatment of blacks throughout our history is not our shining moment, but these people never knew that injustice. They continue to play the eternal victim calling for things like reparations from the Civil War, when they never knew the hardship. I firmly believe after watching several good friends come from bad neighborhoods make a successful life for themselves the excuse for the state of the black community rests solely on their own shoulders.

Also if you are in the reserves you can always be called back to AD. How exactly is the Air Force going to tell the AD Army to cut you loose so you can come back to AD Air Force? Yeah if demoralizing the majority of the crew force and causing distrust in higher leadership was what you were aiming to accomplish.

Rolling up a jihadi on the battlefield and roughing him up to figure out where his friends are so you make it back to your FOB is different than this. Flying a guy from AFG to Europe and extracting information for months about the inner workings of an organization does not qualify to take extreme measures. Now I haven't read through the entire thing but on the surface things like water boarding, sleep deprevation, and cold baths don't fall under toture.

I agree, the AF band always puts on an outstanding show. While I think we have too many bands and TiB, I would advocate keeping the AF band.

Yeah and I watch my loadmasters load tens of thousands of pounds of equipment with or without ATOC, during an 18+ hour day and then go back to asscrackistan to spend the night and do it all over again the next day. We all make life choices I know, but don't complain about getting paid to prance around a stage in sequin studded costumes. Yeah like ditching their undermanned shops to put on a substandard show at the taxpayers and military's expense.

We've been short strung for a while, they can't upgrade guys fast enough to AC. We also lost a lot of knowledge and experience with several lead airdrop/IPs/EPs VSPing and the WIC guys getting pulled back to the schoohouse. I heard the other day the C-17 WPS lost almost 2/3rds of the cadre. Right now we have less than 5 WICs instructors for all of McChord and they all work at group or above jobs. I don't think a Haiti surge would be possible since we just don't have the bodies, not even looking at experience or crew quals.

On a side note, last time I went through Pops, they said they are looking to open a store in Ramstein by next summer and maybe a store or two in the states.

I don't think its fair to clowns to compare them to TACC. And she worked at the Tanker Airlift Control Center, but coordinated bombing missions that hit civilians? But she never saw the end result so she can't really be sure? Seems like BS to me.

I ordered some pen tab patches from them about 6 months ago, no issues. I was skeptical as well if they were still in business. I think I still have the invoice, I can see if I can get you a phone number if you want.

Interesting observation, I'm guessing his rack isn't completely up to date since he earned his first Silver Star in Iraq and I only see a Afghan Medal. Also another thing I just noticed is he has 3 Bronze stars with at least one for Valor and a Joint Commendation Medal with a V device as well.

Looks like a fucking kindergarten class. I know people would do a lot for 3 days pass but I'm not sure I could dance (or roll) around like a 6 year old for it and still walk out being proud of wearing the uniform I just rolled around in.
