Not to thread-jack but if you have free time. See what you can do to help the young men and women who suffer from PTSD at your local VA or equivalent. They need our help. Im usually the highest ranking officer when I help (weekly) and I am a retired O-3E, sad man. Dont see alot Generals or Chiefs, mostly young enlisted solidiers and marines. Don't forget about those young soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen and coasties that are still suffering. They are my heroes!

I hate saying this so much in one week, but you're right. He shouldn't be singling out the shaving waiver as I know it affected more brothers in service than other races. But I can't hide the fact that I would laugh at his joke. Probably the reason I was forced to retire at 20 years and 4 days. In all seriousness, I agree a senior leader shouldn't be making fart jokes. Is there really a reason dudes in the service need to shave? Other than my o2 mask or mopp gear wont fit properly? Are chicks forced to shave anything? Lol.

Lol. This is actually funny. Personally, I like seeing the AFCAM on our senior leaders, Especially a Chief. I’d actually like to see a real “warrior” in senior leadership positions. Not some dude who sat in an office his whole career.

War sucks. The dead in this video have found peace. Regardless of what side you are on, the people fighting get sent to war by politicians who need more. More power, more money and more dead bodies. In the end, the people actually doing the fighting have more in common with the enemies they’re fighting than they do with the politicians sending them to die.

Future pilot right here! Flying instruments via the sim would help. Maybe even engine starts and such (if it's the right aircraft). As a dude who chair flew the night before and who woke up early to chair fly nearly every sortie in UPT, having my own personal sim could have been useful.

I know an active duty gentleman who went helicopters from ENJJPT. This was around 2008-2009.
