  1. I love this statement, because it attacks on the three fronts that are most likely to outrage people on this forum: being entitled, being a bad leader, and lacking integrity. With a sprinkle of "leaving a man behind" for good effect. "Only a transvestite satanic child molester would get out of the Air Force! Do 30 years or you're totally a pussy!" Did I do it right?

  4. So to summarize: Good dude is IG at Aviano, selected for O-6. Is accused, then convicted of sexual assault. Conviction overturned, reinstated, PCS to DM. Politicians outraged, AF re-investigates, 9 yr old affair unearthed, 12AF/CC likely redlines promotion and issues "discipline" COMACC decides "show-cause" is in order. Guy retires as 04. That about right? If so, I'm not sure "justice" has been served, or "honor" restored to the Service.

  6. Truly remarkable forum. Must be meant for whiny Air Force aircrew who can not maintain simple standards. Come join the USMC, we'll teach you how to fly right.

  7. The KC-10 is currently using iPad minis with phaero and good reader enabled. We are using the kneeboard or window harness for the flip. It's an whole new world using the mini. Great product. The Booms currently have a program built in for form f's, e-told for the iPad should be just around the corner. If all goes well each MWS should have functional EFBs and the apps in the next few years... It's getting around comm and politics to get the products we need.

  8. Its simple... the need for an FE is completely dependent on the design of the airplane. F-16s don't need FEs; C-5s do. And for everything in the middle: if you've never been qualified on the airplane in question, your opinion is not valid.

  9. -1 is not written for compound EPs. 2 engine, slats and 8 degree flap is a lovely way to land. Watch the weights and speeds. Damaged radome, all engine, 2 basic options. Unsure if the erroneous speed or altitude readouts gave enough clues or indications. Radome damage, multiple thrust losses, test pilots.
