For the Track C T-38 course being a PCS now, I see in there it refers to being able to seek a waiver to make it a TDY that has to go up to SECAF I believe. Anyone seen any luck with getting that approved?

It’s the secretarial waiver process IAW with the assignments AFI. (It goes through AFPC first)

 

And no, no one has been approved.

Update to T-38 PIT…I just got orders to it next year (Track C) and it’s now showing 4.5 months and TDY.

On that note…anyone got gouge for me? Will there be someone to reach out to? Where to live? Etc. Never taught at UPT and this will be my last assignment so I know nothing.

You should get an email at some point with your flt/cc's info, but don't expect a sponsor for PIT. There aren't necessarily a list of specific places to live unless you're showing up solo then there are plenty of PIT pads (Google will help). You can find furnished places in Schertz, Cibolo, etc. that will allow short term leases.
