November 3Nov 3 Does anyone know if there are any supplemental boards for this? (For example, if people choose not to accept or don't pass MFS.) Thanks in advance!

Hopefully this government shutdown doesn’t effect too much and things are able to still be processed I might be crazy but I put Laughlin first since I’m currently in San Antonio and so are the in laws. Don’t think any of the locations are ideal lol. Does anyone know if we PCS to our UPT base and then attend IPT? Or do we TDY from our current station to IPT and then PCS to UPT?

My buddy is a T6 instructor out at Laughlin and I was talking with him yesterday and he said the kids that went to IPT aren’t back yet. Indicating it’s a PCS first.

Also Vance as top choice, got a few buddies from undergrad there already. Really hoping for Pensacola IPT. 18 hours ago, Arkbird said: Wait until you get to formation and you realize that you completely skipped this in RIQ. Formation will humble you real quick. Scared shitless for formation flying. Spending as many hours as I can in the Milviz/Blackbird Microsoft Flight Simulator T-6A module—in reality I’m not sure if it’ll help. November 3Nov 3 Selected as an alternate. 98 PCSM / 98 Pilot / PPL. There are 18 alternates... How do they determine who gets a slot if one opens up?

Damn man those are great scores… sorry to hear. I read on another year’s thread that someone from the board will reach out to you if you’re next in line should a spot come open. I don’t think they release the rankings but I’m sure they have alternates listed 1 - n. In terms of spots opening up, main example I heard of was a few selectees getting accepted into reserve flying units turning down their active duty spot. MFS-N could be another way but with most people having the stamped FC1 already a MFS-N failure seems pretty unlikely.
November 4Nov 4 Just got told by my CC i didn’t get picked up. 99pilot, 98pcsm, 75flying hours. very curios to get feedback and see what the issue was.

Must be some insane studs out there (who know a 3-star)

I only want heavies. So I didn’t volunteer for ENJJPT. I've been on heavies my entire career. Other than now flying RPA's but Fighters aren't for me and I know I can go to ENJJPT and potentially drop a heavy, but ENJJPT is geared towards fighters. I'm in my early 30's and just want to fly heavies to finish out my career. When I first joined, I worked on MC-130Js then cross trained and became a flight engineer on KC-10's. November 4Nov 4 Volley of questions here. I know this has been said before, but what are the known IPT locations? How long is it supposed to take? Where/when can we expect to see assignments / RNLTDs loaded?

Where/when can we expect to see assignments / RNLTDs loaded? From my memory the IPT locations are: Texas, Pensacola, Arizona, UND, & Atlanta It’s suppose to take around 5 months I believe based on one of my buddies who just went through. As far as the assignments and etc, within a month based on what people who’ve gotten selected before me experienced.

Where/when can we expect to see assignments / RNLTDs loaded? I looked on the ETCA (ECTA?) website yesterday and found the IPT reporting instructions. The locations I saw RIs for were Prescott, AZ (one school) and Phoenix, AZ (three schools); Sanford and Pensacola, FL; Pueblo, CO (the old IFT school I think); Peachtree, GA; San Marcos, TX; and Denton, TX. Hope this helps! Not sure how they decide who goes where for IPT. Also, it’s supposed to be 139 calendar days I believe, but it sounds like it’s closer to five months. Do you mind posting/sending me one of the reporting instruction docs? Whenever I go on the ETCA website it crashes for me lol

November 8Nov 8 Can someone explain the MFS process. I know we go to WP, but how much additional tests is it on top of FC1, and is it common to find things that can DQ you that wasn't found during our FC1?
