February 11Feb 11 Anytime Tower would ask me to report my gear, I'd respond "fixed and welded". Guess that won't work now.I had a pilot call in “Im showing no indication.”Tower asked them to fly by and was furious when they realized it.Several ass chewings later, it was still funny.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 13Jul 13 Saw this tidbit in an article about Norway acquiring the Whiskey https://breakingdefense.com/2025/07/us-clears-norway-to-purchase-hh-60w-helicopters/ Quote Amid fluctuating fleet plans for a different helicopter, the HH-60W has also found a new role. According to recently released budget documents, the Air Force plans for the helicopter to take over the task of shuttling VIPs around the National Capital region, a job originally planned for Boeing’s MH-139 Grey Wolf. This move shifts the mission from the Huey, originally slated for the Boeing MH-139 Grey Wolf, to the more advanced HH-60W. Edited July 13Jul 13 by uhhello
