December 17, 20168 yr Two MV-22 incidents in Okinawa this week, one a total loss the other a major gear malfunction. A local captured some pictures of the water "landing"...I believe they all survived but looks a bit harder than a landing. December 20, 20168 yr Been a rough few months for the USMC in/around Okinawa. Harrier, Hornet and now Osprey all have gone down. 33d/31st bros have been doing good work though like Breckey eluded to.

The probe tip is ~9ft forward of the nose when fully extended, and the proprotors are several feet aft of the nose. Regardless, glad all 5 got out safely.
