December 25, 20159 yr I use the standard media tags--(media)(/media) but with brackets instead of parentheses--but the post still only shows the URL and doesn't embed the video into the post. What gives?!?
December 28, 20159 yr Embedding youtube videos: Simply copy the youtube URL and paste it into your post, wait a few moments and it will expand into an embedded frame.
December 28, 20159 yr Author That's how I normally do so, but it wasn't working for me. I'll try it again...
December 28, 20159 yr Author Not it's not working in the Gun Talk thread... https://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums/topic/11254-gun-talk/?page=205
December 28, 20159 yr M2, your holster video posted above works just fine. I'm using the Baseops app on an iPhone.
December 31, 20159 yr Very very interesting... I'm looking into it. Just to be sure, you're not pasting the link and then quickly hitting submit?
December 31, 20159 yr Author Nope, tried it a few times and still only get the link and not the embedded video. Cheers! M2

December 31, 20159 yr Using the iPhone Baseops app, all of the above videos display as embedded videos, not links. However, browsing the forum using Chrome and Safari on the iPhone, M2's posts display as links, but DFRESH's post is an embedded video.
January 10, 20169 yr Made some significant updates to the board today.... Maybe that solved it? I haven't done any real in-depth troubleshooting as of yet, just hoping a few needed updates would resolve the problem. Expect a completely new version of both the android and apple app to be brought to market in about a month.
