April 2, 201114 yr Maybe we could also have a NATO/AFRICOM Stupidity Down Day as well... I second the motion.
April 3, 201114 yr ....it's a sad day for the Air Force, we lost a cold blooded killer....but the pilot's Ok so that's good. I looked through some old pictures and found a few shots of 963 in her glory. Ahh, the memories... Good post, Hoss.
April 4, 201114 yr Spang has released the name of the pilot... The pilot, Lt. Col. Scott Hurrelbrink from the 81st Fighter Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, ejected from the aircraft and sustained minor injuries. He was transported from the scene and is in good condition at Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Bruder, a hospital in Trier, Germany. Probably a bit too much information; but the good news is that he's OK!
