So hypothetically, you get involved in a Class A but are not killed, but it sure looks like you might be at fault. You plan on just handing over your phone, laptop, passcode, gmail password, BO.net username and password, etc. to the investigating officials? The FAA? The NTSB? The news media? You're gonna just leave your public facebook or linkedin profiles out there so random internet people can blow up your notifications? You're gonna just leave your semi-anon accounts like BO, reddit, Twitter, etc. up even if those accounts are doxed?
God forbid you were killed, you would like your wife/parents/next of kin to do the same?
And regardless, it's unlikely that's even what's happened in the DCA crash. I'm guessing the deceased pilot's family deleted her social media so random dickhead internet sleuths didn't go poking into her personal life after it tragically ended.
If there's any evidence of actual obstruction of the real, no-shit NTSB investigation, withholding relevant, possibly causal details, for sure let's quash that and get the truth data out there so we can prevent accidents in the future. But protecting the privacy of your deceased family members is not evidence of some conspiracy or funny business.
I look forward to reading the safety brief on this once all the conclusions are reached rather than putting any stock in random talking heads or youtube aviation bros' speculation. I have opinions on what I think happened based on what we've all seen, but I don't actually know shit and therefore that opinion isn't particularly valuable.
I'll go on record saying if I die, regardless of the circumstances, I'd love for my wife to go ahead and delete everything not required for her to continue our household operations and then throw my phone and laptop in the ocean. TBH we'd all be better off probably sending our devices down to Davy Jones ASAP rather than continuing to do what we're doing right here and now...
I thought I had read where she was not recovered until 24 hours after the other crew was recovered (thus the delay)?

Yes, most folks don't understand that Trump is using these as a leverage for negotiations. I'll argue in that vein (sts) that it is working so far, he has reactions from everybody who's been "tariffed." Otherwise he would be like the previous POTUS, who sat there with hi d*ck in his hand, doing nothing.
et voilà !
Mexico president makes deal with Trump to pause tariffs for a month, put 10K troops on border

Trump uses tariffs as leverage, and he has been extremely successful at wielding them. CA and Mex are welcome to FAFO, or they can start actually doing something about the shit they let pour into our country.

Point of order… body cams like dash cams have been more of an assist to police in action than they ever have to finding the bad apples and line cops have wanted them for years.
Dash cams were a godsend as well. A whole lot of videos stopped or corrected legal action in complaints by people because they closed the your word vs mine problem.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYes, more than you know. Once upon a time, I worked for a leading manufacturer of these things. One of the statistics that came out of their use, was that when officers were accused, they were exonerated at a rate of 97% after review of the video. Many agencies also have a nifty policy for officer complaints, when the video is reviewed if additional crimes are exposed new charges will be placed on either the officer or the complainant. Apparently many folks just walk out the door when asked to sign a complaint.
So they are a benefit, IMHO, and when used in an established process with a proper chain of custody, the evidence is usually quite damning.

Sadly, a lot of those tears I saw/heard were based on the person being extremely naïve about the subject (because they've been listening to their team's radio station). For example, the knee-jerk reactions of multiple-pierced nut jobs, saying they will get pregnant as often as possible, so they can have as many abortions as they can. Or the same group crying, because Orange man is going to ban contraceptives too.
Fortunately, this is a little like mowing my lawn yesterday, it was very dusty, but I knew that it would eventually die down and blow away in the wind. The good news, is that KH will soon fade into obscurity, along with her cryin' man (Walz), who will go back to doing the job some Minnesotans hired him for.

More heartbreaking news out of Lebanon...

Tuberville puts hold on military promotion for top Austin aide
“Sen. Tuberville has concerns about Lt. Gen. Clark’s actions during Secretary Austin’s hospitalization,” Tuberville spokesperson Mallory Jaspers told CNN. “Lt. Gen. Clark knew that Sec. Austin was incapacitated and did not tell the Commander in Chief. As a senior commissioned officer, Lt. Gen. Clark’s oath requires him to notify POTUS when the chain of command is compromised.”
I wonder what the POTUS reaction would have, had he known? Anything. He's not really in charge anyway:

Trump started to make this argument, that he stuck with mostly normal policy decisions as examples. If they really focus on highlighting the insanity of the progressive movement, with Kamala as its greatest champion, they can take back the narrative.
To me, Trump does have a strategy here, which is - make sure the other side keeps talking about wacko stuff. It's there to highlight the differences and clearly put KH in a left/woke box.
Her luster will begin to wear off, just not sure when.

If I was Kamala, this statement isn’t giving me a warm fuzzy https://barackobama.medium.com/my-statement-on-president-bidens-announcement-1eb78b3ba3fc
“But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges” 🤷♀️I saw this yesterday, and I wonder why no one is reporting it? Here's the take away from Barack's lengthy message: "But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges."
Many people may be assumed he wrote this before Harris was chosen, but it's not. It looks like the candidacy is wide open.

So let the speculation begin (or continue)!
Since it seems more likely than ever (though not guaranteed) a new Demo candidate will be thrust forth (sts) - who will it be? Some choices:
- That person who is the current VP (Harris)
- Michele Obama
- That person who ran against trump in 2016
- Gavin Newsome
- Kennedy
- Your Mom

In other news, here is Schumer trying to show you that he’s just an ordinary guy who knows how to grill hamburgers. What’s funny is that I’m sure a few of his top advisors looked at this picture before giving the thumbs up that it was good for social media, which means those same people are just as clueless when it comes to operating a grill. Personally I don’t really care if a politician knows how to do basic grilling or not, I just don’t like them trying to gaslight me that they’re “just like us” when they’re clearly not.
His wieners look done though - that's probably what he's smiling about.

Is it better to fight someone with a strategic and tactical advantage or negotiate with them?
So many more factors, like the adversary's motivation. Are they motivated to stop the shenanigans? Or, how do their goals change the way they think? Or, are they just d*cks?
