I forgot about the paperwork part (been through it before). anyhow, I’ve been told I didn’t make it by 1 random person on this board (who has a “friend with a list”). so I’m going in expecting not to make it. The lists are all segregated by location, SRID, and LAF category, and I’m not even certain if this guy’s “friend” knows that or knows what list he was looking at. if I don’t make it, I’m doing an FOIA request for the bottom 10 promoted and making a case for mine. In my opinion, my record is good enough, and I’ve seen hundreds of packages through my exec days.

With a P IDE complete in 2017 i had 5 oprs as a major and stratted as a major in 4 of them #1/4 Majors deployed and #6/25 Majors #22/150 Majors #7/160 Majors no strat #3/7 Majors lots of FGOY and FGOQ awards

Absolutely NO one IPZ is at IDE in res when they meet their board. 3rd look is 2 to 3 years before your IPZ O5 board

Welp, the staff Sgt list is publicly released now. seems to have been with leadership for the past week or 2. Still no word on O5 list

I was 100% 1/1 eligibles on my bottom line. Then 2/7 overall majors.... the #1 in that instance is a Lt Col (s) waiting time pin on. Lucky me.

Correct. If it’s 90% of roughly 1000 IPZ majors... then 900 total IPZ/APZ combined will be selected.

that’s correct on the bottom line. 1/1 and 2/7 Majs. The number 1 Major being already selected for O-5.

At the base, upwards of 30 in the category at the MLR. 1/1 at my Senior Rater. Did not get any sort of super P

Just received IPZ PRF for Lt Col. I received a P 😞 that was with: #1/5 Majors (deployed) #6/24 Majors (Gp/CC) #22/150 Majors (Wg/CC) #7/160 Majors (Wg/CC) all on 4 different OPRs im at a new organization now.... currently stratted #2/7, only behind a Lt Col (S)....but “lucky” me, that’s on my PRF, and it looks bad IMO

That’s not how math works.... Discounting APZ people.... if you don’t get a DP, you have between a 70 and 80% chance at promotion, depending on your LAF category

Any real memo on promotion %? and what might DP rate be? I think it’s around 50% or 55% DP for the previous 75% rate?? or ya the rate been higher than 75%

the old system helped keep promotion rates per AFSC all within the same level. this new system will allow for tailoring of increasing or decreasing promotion rates depending on need/retirements. to me, this is the answer to pilot retention in the promotion system. If we are truly low on pilots, then why would their promotion rate be the same? It makes little sense. This is a step in the right direction.

I am all for pulling out in the Middle East. Those idiots want to be at war. It’s their way of life. I would rather spend our money and manpower helping protecting/people who want to be helped. I think its it’s a great move.
