I think the point is just because people didn't die on the OAIX incident doesn't mean those guys should be made fun of every opportunity, while the WY incident is taboo because people died. Pilot error is pilot error, consequences notwithstanding.I'm all for bagging on them for a mistake he made. However, what I'm not all for is you throwing crews under the bus where people were killed. That's a totally different scenario, and you're a douche for even bringing up Jackson Hole. People died on those missions and you're an ass for even comparing a gear up landing to an airplane that was destroyed and killed most/if not all aboard.

The FAIP Mafia bus from Moody is sitting in the parking lot at Columbus now. The thing hasn't run in a while though. Class 09-14 also has a short bus that's painted up like a T-6 that has really gotten around town. It's currently up for sale, but its pretty rough around the edges.
You bite your tongue...that bus is 08-12's baby, and she is glorious.

The other night I walked into the Vance club while in civvies and had a hat on. Before i got more than 10 steps in I got yelled at to take off my hat. I almost never go to the O Club so maybe its always been a rule, but it was annoying as hell. I'm in civilian clothes and trying to relax, give it a rest.

Don't be so sure...AF standards are stricter than FAA standards. I know a guy who got a PPL paid for by the AF, then was DQ'd for a weird eye thing at Brooks.
