    The next President is Nashville?

I'd vote for Nashville over a stumbling, babbling elderly gentleman suffering from dementia.  Getting them all on Air Force 1 should be entertaining.

  2. Nashville is not a urban cesspool with a large crime problem because the sanity of the surrounding Republican/conservative population won't let it.  Where leftists and liberal idiots have been allowed free rein in deep blue states, chaos and misery has embedded into the cities.  500,000 people have bailed out of California, IIRC. Google population decline in blue states for better numbers.  Claiming to be blind to facts or making false comparisons certainly won't improve the life of anyone too poor to run away from those bad policies.  But hey, keep voting for those policies, I'm sure something different will eventually result.

It’s amazing how fast that city has turned into a complete shit hole. My sister and her now husband moved there in 2010 and there were some pockets of this already and probably had been for a while, but it was still mostly just weird Portland.

It’s completely off the rails these days and only accelerated after 2020, George Floyd riots, etc… Lots of other Democrat heavy cities and towns are following suit, and not just the expected ones like LA, San Fran, Austin. Asheville NC used to be one of my favorites cities on the east coast and it’s got encampments and heavy drug use now too.

Prior to the recall of Newsome, something like 60% of voters didn't like the direction the state of California was going. However, when pulling the lever to vote, Newsome wins by 20 points.  The level of disaster doesn't matter to these people because they think "I'm a good person, Republicans are bad, and conservatives are Nazis so I'm voting democrat no matter what." These people will let their city, state, and/or country burn to the ground as long as they get to rule over the ashes.  We are watching this happen in real time in the cities you mentioned.

  4. Children aren't allowed to drive until 14, get a driver's license at 16, vote or buy a gun until 18, and drink until they are 21 years old.  Why? Because society does not believe that children have the mental capacity to make correct choices regarding those subjects.  But somehow, when it comes to permanent devastating life altering surgical or hormonal choices, children including pre-teens are deemed by the left to be more than competent to make those decisions. The leftist fascination with co-opting children is downright evil.

Whatever another adult wants to do to float their boat is fine by me just don't ask me to to play along with any sort of delusion or celebrate whatever choice that adult may make but leave children alone.

  6. 130,000 federal employees make more than the highest paid governor in the U.S. They don’t like being called swamp dwellers and will do whatever it takes to defend their swampy turf and paycheck because they know other swamp dwellers will not hold them accountable.

Exactly my point, you don't care about a level playing field in womens sports

    You just hate trans people

A male that has gone through puberty is taller, has greater muscle mass, larger lungs and heart, and skeletal construction that enhances mechanical advantage.  Decreasing testosterone removes exactly none of that after puberty. The U.S. National Womens Soccer team played warm up games against U15 boys AND LOST. There is a difference and ignoring the science of biology does not change that.

    It happens.

I flew that Patriot battalion home from Kuwait City Itnl on a CRAF flight and Battalion Exec was on the Jumpseat explaining what happened. I’m not sure what was/wasn’t classified but it involved a lot more than IFF and both were avoidable.

Wrong!! It’s Tex-Mex and it’s better! Don’t make me track you down and give you a brisket burrito to prove the error of your misguided ways!

Ugh I hate when I'm quoted before I realize I made a typo. "People protestors" lmao. Oh well.

The really sad part is how language and definitions are getting warped or changed so I'm trying to wrap my brain around and decipher that language so my brain accepted"people protestors" and moved on without a second thought.

  11. "The Cold War: What We Saw" narrated by Bill Whittle is excellent. He also did "Apollo: What We Saw" about the space race. Also excellent.  You might be able to find them outside the Daily wire.

That would realistically never happen since they're already hired for the airframe.

It happened back in the day before the dual track system but I'm not sure how it would work now.  I had a student going to 141 Reserves at CHS.  We FAR'd him and he was offered an F-16 when another ARC guy didn't make the FAR cut.

  13. This should be fun! The 80 year old with demonstrable cognitive decline is going to run for President again!  As opposed to putting the nation through the whole FJB vs Orange Man Bad again, I say we put on a pay per view (funds go to pay down debt) death cage match and the winner is exiled to Epstein Island. Win, win, win for everyone.

A man (yes an effin’ MAN) willingly remove his junk, sooner or later that act is gonna hit home. Truly sad that some decide to take this path.

True.  And this does nothing to improve or sustain our ability to kill people or break their stuff but that isn't the priory of those in charge.
