Anybody try to go to the portal lately? Can't go to the portal without watching the "don't touch each other" video, but the video won't load. I just removed the word email from the URL and was able to gain access... But still, WTF

The interwebs (wiki) says they pay 6.6 million people a year. So at 99.76% success rate, there's nearly 16,000 people with pay problems. That's assuming those metrics were run per person and not per transaction. Wiki says they do over 455 million transactions a year. With a 99.76% success rate that means they fuck up about a million transactions a year. Alibis for 2- math in public and using wiki as a resource.

Got an email today saying I have to fill out some certification in order to comply with some federal clean air act section 69b. My vehicle is registered in Florida, where no smog/emissions test is required. The FAQ in the email says you still have to fill out the form if you register your vehicle in a state that does not require testing. I answered truthfully (no tests done on my vehicles), and then got an email saying I have 30 days to have my cars checked. WTFO
  17. That gives me an error too. I'm guessing it isn't set up correctly yet. Did you submit an access request? Maybe the data your looking for can be found in a link on here somewhere: https://gum-crm.csd.disa.mil/app/answers/detail/a_id/24711 I can't find a way to get into the sharepoint replacement for the old CAF CoP afkn site.
  18. If you log on to AMS through the portal there's a link under one of the tabs (which are only visible in specific versions of internet explorer and only with compatibility mode enabled and only if you stand on one leg and hop while patting your cranium)

  22. There's a research lab at Wright-Patt that probably has plenty of info. I'll see if I can get some contact info for you. I know when we were up there the controllers got a lot out of being able to control our simulator missions. I imagine having them control computer driven aircraft would not be nearly as helpful.
