just another reason I dont like those damn things. There was always at least one broken Harrier parked at Wilmington INTL in NC, about an hour from cherry point. These guys always fly in and party DT or at the Beach bars with us and TRY to take our women.. F-35 cant come soon enough to save a few more lives... I would really like to get my hands on an HGU-55 Flight Helmet and mask assembly. I have been to GENTEX and EBAY, but I figured I'd check on here first before I buy. I would like to purchase these items for my aviation collection. This would be a great addition. What happens to old used equipment? Pilots keep them for their collection? If any of you dudes have any that you would part with, PM me and we will talk about pricing. Last night while atop a 5 story building over looking downtown Wilmington, NC, I was outside holding the lady (because its December and its cold as fu(king Alaska...) We were checking out the view and looking at the stars... I know... Now...DT Wilmington is about 10 miles from the airport, so there is lots of traffic that fly right over, but ILM is class D and the tower closes at 11. this was 1:52 a.m. we're looking up an from the NW to SE fast as hell was a triangular uh...thing...with an orange glow on each corner. as it passed over, it disappeared. No sound at all. Yes. I had been drinking. So had she, but that was a sobering experience for sure. NOTE: I have never believed in UFO stories before. I thought everyone was a total NUTJOB.
