Big Blue has succeeded. I will go out of my way to prevent sexual assaults. Not because it's the right thing to do, but so I can avoid stupid ing briefings more than annually. I give up. Stop the insanity.

I assume you meant "pinging."
Never heard of pining? Tulsa used it correctly.

Funny thing about skydivers: a lot of them don't care for flying. They'd be nothing but a vapor trail at the first sign of trouble.
The feeling is mutual. I don't care for skydiving.

I hope you are not a white, male, heterosexual, Christian. If so, this will not end well for you.

This thread has gone full-retard. Wait, I apologize-- this thread has become mentally challenged.

This article wreaks of racism and sexism and if this is from a DoD publication, letters to congressmen/women need to go out. Skip the IG altogether.

Maybe to you. I think you're just crazy for saying that and think it's a clear sign we've lost our minds. A swimsuit is sexually offensive?? Good god, how on earth do we allow base pools! Explain to me where the line is drawn? Can I have a picture of my wife after running a race in her scandalous running top and shorts? Is a cocktail dress acceptable? Anyone offended by a swimsuit needs to get a reality check.
I guess these pictures are ok since they're on af.mil sites? Picture1 , Picture 2, Picture 3
GMAFB.
Base pools will continue to operate as normal with the following stipulations: all participants MUST wear a full-body wet suit and cameras/smart phones/tablets with camera function must be checked at the door. If this guidance is not followed, HQ AF will be forced to restrict pool usage by gender in the following schedule: males: M/W, females: T/TH, gender neutral: weekend.

Point was more about what TreeA10 made, not the same discussion as in the thread you linked. Blows me away that a sitting Sq Commander would take the time to purpously take away from the focus of the mission to use those under their supervision to conduct a "gotcha" social experiment. She has no business commanding anything… yet this behavior is celebrated by the Big Blue management.
She purposly put the picture on an Officer's desk in an predomenantly enlisted environment… for what purpose? Are we training the future "sock checkers" in the AOR at the E-1 through E-3 level?
Let's be honest. She's now destined for O-7+

Welcome back to the 1950's. If your wife's ankles are showing in a picture on your desk, expect paperwork. Do the right thing.

Chiefed on Friday - Grabbed an apple as I stepped, completed it in 6 to 9 sec only to be intercepted by an E-9 a minute after entering the flight line with a... Gasp, apple core in hand. "Sir, you aren't allowed to eat on the flight line! You need to get rid of that before an Airman sees it and gets the wrong idea." Gee thanks Chief, I was just on my way to that FOD bucket right behind you.
Where is this attitude being cultivated? I have no issue complying with regs and I really have no desire to get into it with some dumbass E-9, but these people are getting out of hand and need to be stopped.
You aren't allowed to eat on the flightline? Who knew? Is that in an AFI?

I haven't heard of any twice passed over majors get the boot since the 157 in 2011.

Does the data include those who would have been eligible, but have already separated this FY?

Heard today of a SQ/CC getting counseled for using 6-9 minutes. Also heard General Polumbo is on a warpath about "so to speak"...and heard there have been numerous CAF firings for some really small things so nothing surprises me.
Maj Gen Polumbo is hands-down the best GO I've flown with and served under.
So to speak.

Is a STURON the same thing as the OSS student section?

At the KMIB Sexual Assault stand down day mass brief, as soon as one of the SARCs started talking about how to avoid putting yourself in higher-risk situations (i.e. not getting blackout drunk), a shrill voice came from the back of the auditorium shrieked "Why does it matter if she was blackout drunk?"
FML.
That's why we can't have nice things... lowest common denominator.

deaddebate-- the CSAF is spot-on with that assessment.

Lord of the Flies. My 10 years are up next year and it looks more and more every day that I will be taking my skills elsewhere. Stop-loss permitting, of course.

We'd better get that check up front and wait a few days after cashing it to make sure the funds went through.
We'll just turn around and send it right back to them as foreign aid. Wait...what?

Enough with the SOS talk! Jesus.

Slick, you are a piece of work. I'm sure the airmen and officers you supervise are well aware.

Work on your PRF? Why would your commander allow you to do that?
I was in the middle of a 210 day deployment to Afghanistan when I was given 3 days notice from my home-unit SQ/CC to write my own PRF for O-4. The next two days I flew combat missions. The third and final day I was able to devote completely to the PRF.

It takes 6-9 hours, sometimes a full day for Blackboard to accept the enrollment in AUSIS.
