These ######ers mutilate, rape, torture, and desicate the bodies of not only ours but of civilians on the battlefield meanwhile they drag piles of bodies together sans weapons and claim war crimes and illegal air strikes. The War will end and history will remember whatever the ###### it wants dependent on which country your in. Lets kill bad guys (ie anybody that points a ######ing weapon at anyone wearing an ISAF patch) and stop worrying about anything beyond that.

Like ThreeHoler said, call the company that issued the loan (USAA, Sallie Mae, etc) and inform them you want your interest rate fixed as part of the servicemans civil relief act. After that they will likely either give you a number or an address for you to send your information to. Typically they want some kind of official letter head type document but just about anything with a date on it will work. I used my original appointment orders since they had the whole commitment to 20XX on it. That should fix your loans to a 6% interest rate maximum and they cant be arbitrarily increased. Also contact your credit card company, car loan, etc, it works for anything you had when you joined the military.

See thats a problem we experience too. Any time a mission comes up we find ourselves adding 3-4 approach plates to the kneeboard packet because somehow people feel they need to be there. Even though you have your volume 3 with the same plates on it in your pubs bag, or at least your supposed too. I think thats more a cultural problem in the powerpoint military of if something isnt X number of pages it must not be complete. Quantity over content.

When Michigan stopped their season Florida still had the SEC championship to play while ranked #4 and USC was ranked #2 (and lost to UCLA). The final BCS poll passed Florida over Michigan to take the No. 2 spot while Michigan remained unchanged at No. 3, with .0101 points separating the two teams. This small difference was a result of the human polls (the Coaches Poll and Harris Interactive Poll) ranking Florida above Michigan while the computer polls had the two teams tied for second. That pretty much set a precedent that if you lost your division championship you should be locked out of the National Championship. But the two teams going on to lose shows any team can lose on any game day, and Oklahoma State has far more cause for playing in the National Championship than Alabama, but there is too much blind SEC love a la "We are the greatest at football ever" (so long as you ignore Vandy, Kentucky, Mississippi state, Ol'Miss, and Tennessee) that the people this contest was rigged for will just stand by and forget how much they were bitching and how hard they would have bitched had it gone to Michigan instead of Florida in 2006. Every day Im in Europe I stop and ask myself "how the hell did we ever plan to fight WWIII over here in this Theatre we sure couldnt do it now if we had too." -The weather that can be counted on to be IMC from the floor to 3K that never seems to burn off. -Units that dont even know who has the keys to their arms room much less that ability to get into it without it taking 2 days notice -Contract services that work around German working hours, 2 hour lunches, and holidays you've never heard of (they also take your holidays off too) -No organic movement capability within the military its self. Seriously if the Germans driving our trucks dont show up with their own cranes we cant move anything that wont fit in the back of an LMTV -A military that has no flexibility in planning but to spend 3 days arguing over powerpoint slides and bitching that the kneeboard packet isnt thick enough so it must not have enough of the "right products." Not to say it wouldnt be fun to have a real fight down amongst the trees for the role my aircraft was designed for. Questions for the Army guys that did/are doing the switch over... RLO or Warrant? If Warrant how did that work in so far as converting over to a system that has no equivalent? Active Duty or Guard and if Active Duty who did you call? Not exactly ready to jump ship or anything, just keeping my options open as the field seems to be changing in the 4-10 year plan.

Common game for my 53 buddies to play on guys is push starting the APU. Great laugh to be had watching a platoon all giving a 70K lbs helicopter a push and then after a bit of coaxing by the crew chief they arent going fast enough the pilot steps on the brakes and hits the APU starter. Also got to watch a young PFC yelling with all his might into a urinal relief funnel to test the "sound powered ICS."

Half the Pilots and IPs in my units have one of these. Im getting one the next time I have some expendable cash. Imagine a small device that takes up as much space as a regular spiral bound notebook... That you can load every Pup that you could ever want on. Complete Aircraft manual and Air Crew Training Manual. How much money to we piss away every 30-45 days in expiring charts and pubs in the military. Standards Pilot/SST/DES/Etc - "Im old and this device isnt what I had when I started out so I shall punish anyone I witness using this to study from or reference even though the pubs are exactly the same as the paper ones."

1/48th Scale is where detail really starts to come out in these toys and plastic models. Anything smaller like 1/72nd or 1/144th and your getting into something you'd use to make one of those wall length model diplays in a museum. 1/32nd and larger scales are considered to be the extremely detailed stuff that goes so far as making the piping and wires under panels closer to accurate. Only issue you run into here is there arent nearly as wide a variety of them as 48th and 72nd and they weigh a lot more. Might be an issue if your looking at hanging a diecast model from a ceiling. Personally Id recommend you try something closer to 1/32nd or 1/48th as its more than big enough to not look like a crappy childs toy. Things like individual types of weapons so you can see details between AIM-9, Harpoon, AIM-120 and not just a bunch of the same generic looking bomb/missiles hanging on various stations. At the same time its something small enough to not weigh a ton and even sit on a window ledge or bookshelf as the collection expands without needing its own TV stand sized display area.
