A Corona thats been in the back of my fridge for months. It was just a little skunky.

I had tons of .308/7.62 laying around and nothing to shoot it with...so I bought a rifle. Ammo is like gold/silver these days and everyone is buying high.

Great uncle flew B-24s in WW2. Im the first to be in the USAF. We have all the other branches covered, cept the Coast Guard, all the way back to the Revolution so the story goes. Kinda cool flying the same sort of choppers my dad and uncle rode in.

I'd trust a guard soldier with firearms before a civilian cop. Many of them are cops. most of the guard officers I knew growing up were also avid hunters and went to range often.

I know if it wasn't for an airshow I wouldn't have been interested in flying. I can pin the moment when I wanted to fly, and it was a high speed pass by a B-1B at the Dallas Love Field airshow when I was little. I recently got to fly into KOFF. Our T-6B was going to be a static display for our one day there, but it got rained out and we had to leave Sunday. So I didn't get to talk to people about planes and the USAF, but all the waves from the crowd when we taxied out were nice.

I'm not holding my breath when it comes to the F-35 being everything to everyone, but I think it'll find a niche. It blows that so much time and money are being thrown at it though. At least the USAF version has a gun, though. Fck it, I'll fly it if no one else wants to.
