  1. ENJJPT 13-03 Assignables F-16 x 8, F-15E x 1, T-6 x 1, T-38 x 1, A-10 x 1, U-28 x 2, B-52 x 1 Pretty sick drop.
  2. ENJJPT still issues them for use in T-6 and T-38. But the days are numbered from what I've heard, as is teaching the fix to fix.
  3. Yeah, on base for sure. All the officer houses were all built within the last couple years. Nice places.
  4. That's what we were told at the start of UPT. Evidently they are only now realizing this test has no bearing on how well you pull Gs. Typical AF.
  5. I'm almost certain the welcome info on the site says the liner is only authorized to be worn under the jacket. So I'm guessing no name tapes would be needed.
  6. Any dudes (or dudettes) on their way to IFS and in need of a good study tool for Boldface and Ops limits I stumbled upon a little gem today. I had the idea of putting flashcards on my iPhone for studying while on the go. Turns out I wasn't the first one. The app is call Flashcardlet and has the Boldface and Ops limits for the DA-20 already loaded on their server. I haven't had the time to double check each value against Doss IFS website so user beware. Follow the link for more info. Cheers!
  7. If you thought that was funny, be sure to check out this gem! Courtesy of Songify This! And no doubt
  8. Great Lakes Erie Monster 8/10 I like the flavor and the 9.5% alcohol wasn't bad either.
  9. So I'm trying to navigate the murky waters that is Tricare. I'm a Guard guy who is going to AMS in Nov on Title 10 orders, and IFS is January on Title 32 orders. My civilian employer drops my family medical coverage when I'm on military leave for longer than 30 days (which both sets of orders will be). How does Tricare handle the difference in Title 10 and Title 32 orders? And to further complicate things my son requires special medical supplies a normal kid does not. Does anyone know of special programs offered to ensure that he will continue to get the special medical care that he needs when I'm at AMS, IFS, and UPT? Or at least a contact of someone who might know? Any help is much appreciated.
  10. My dates start the first week of November thru mid December. Just got my dates a couple of weeks ago. I start UPT in March.
  11. x2 At least it isn't working when I try accessing from my phone.
  12. This is one of the more recent videos that has come out. Never underestimate the power of nature.
  13. I spent about 8 months in the 'VO' and wondered the whole time why I was getting CZTE and HDP. The closest I got to 'combat' was guarding the fruit truck to the nearby bases to make sure the locals didn't rob us blind.
  14. They just held a board in December. Not sure when the next board will be. End of the year at the earliest. But to answer your question, get in touch with Ops and ask to speak to who is in charge of the pilot board. That's how I got in for a visit. Good luck, never too early to start trying.
  15. Only send what they ask for. That's a good way to package tossed (STS) if you don't follow directions.
  16. The Carrot Bukkake Saw this on Tosh.0 and he was pissed they didn't show the guys spraying her with ranch dressing.
  17. Dude, you're 17. Enlisting would provide a lot of good experience. The unit will care more about you enlisting than they will about you have x amount of ratings and hours. Most dudes I know that got picked up in a guard unit weren't picked up until they were 25 or 26 anyways. Leaves a lot of time for you to experience the military life and still finish college. Not to mention they Guard will probably pay for most if not all of your tuition. I guess what I'm trying to say is to keep an open mind. Don't discount the idea, more than likely a couple of the interview board members will be prior enlisted while in college and make take offense to you not wanting to 'worry about duties and deployments'. But either way good luck on your endeavors.
  18. FWIW, I don't know if it really matters. I got picked up with only private. But then again another dude that was hired in with me had his CFI. I think they really only focus on the person rather than the ratings they hold. Just my .02.
  19. Evidently it is often loud near Air Force bases. But I think this LTC had the proper response. Beer to him! On a different note. Found a cool website with stuff that only the military could appreciate. Where you can see cool stuff like this and of course this Anyway, worth checking out the website if you get a chance. Pretty good stuff. *Edit to add backstory
