So isn anyone else's W-2's messed up? I don't even have one. I have heard of other people who only can get their 2003 W-2. Now remember this is AFTER 14 Jan, so they should be up. Any ideas?

I just watched a MAD video of Swiss mirage pilots hotshotting around the alps, and it awesome. Silly question, but are USAF pilots ever allowed to go joyriding from time to time (solo, or with a flight?) Or, does every single flight have a clear, tactical purpose? How often do you run into a pilot on active duty that could be a top notch officer, but doesn't fit the role of pilot well due to attitude or personality issues? Currently I know of a cadet who will be going to ENJJPT once she commissions. She is certainly a top notch cadet when it comes to everything that factors into pilot selection, but I have a VERY hard time envisioning her dropping ordinance on another human being, regardless of how vile an enemy. In addition, I wouldn't have much confidence in her reaction to a life or death situation in the cockpit since she seems to want to fly because in her mind it will be all fun and games, not realizing it could be fatal…

Just wondering why you never see fighters do a mach 1 flyby at airshows? I think it would be a huge attraction to see a plane fly by at the speed of sound. The fastest I've seen them fly at airshows is ~250 kts. Is there a reason for this? If prohibited by FAR's, can't they relax them for the show?

My package is in for this AD board and after doing some research on different aircraft I decided I would like to fly the transport/tanker aircraft. From what I have read my persoanl choices would be 1st C5 2nd C17 3rd KC10 Of course I would be happy to fly any air force aircraft. Secondly, as my first posting, my question deals with the opportunities for ANG pilots to become instructor pilot's within the various SUPT bases. I'm aware of the reserves having that ability, but how about the guard?

Hello, I'll start by giving the timeline of events. March 2004 - selected for pilot slot at board 0403. March 2004 - took FC1 August 2004 - told I had a cavity and needed to get it fixed, was never told this 5 months earlier. August 2004 - got tooth fixed, went back to base for dental checkup, was told the tooth next to it needed to be fixed as well. September 2004 - had adjacent tooth fixed, faxed proof of dental work to Flight Medicine who took it to the AF dentist who then signed off on my FC1 (allegedly). Alright, so I have been studying for finals all weak (dead weak) and during this time I have gone through at least 4 pens or more. None of the pens that I have used really pleased me. I want something that looks professional. So, this is kind of an off subject question, what kind of pens do some of the other cadets or even officers use that are on these forums?

I read in the latest Air Force Assoc. magazine that when the B-2 program gets a makeover next year (avionics, new skins, etc.)it quite possibly will include an addition of a 3rd pilot. They say the B-2 has plenty of room for a third crewman and that it would be beneficial to have a 3rd pilot on long combat missions. My question is do adjustments like this call for more pilot's to be trained and go straight to the B-2 program from UPT (if qualified)? Or is the B-2 program overloaded with pilots? Just curious.
