The Iran thread
Reading all of the “pundits” posts here, listening to all of the “pundits” on Cable TV and Network stations. Communicating with Family and Friends, and listening to their definitive opinions….is like listening to debates of the existence of God, Heaven, or Hell… And since I’m getting older, and wiser now, to when knowing to sit and wait things out… And so, I’ll Toast (with another IPA from “tac airlifter”) to all of you my fellow pilots and to your Family and Friends. Cheers, keep it civil guys…. Check 6

fire4effect, So many here have Historical disconnect(s). And I have come to accept that. Glad you were able to know him and his experiences. Springer (talking for you now…) and I can remember that period and the sadness of the loss of several friends due to that conflict (war). Please always remember our friends in arms and Toast to those that gave all. Bests, SHFP

Agree LR. So many here don’t know (too young) to understand about “Going Downtown”. Lost a few friends flying Thuds on Route Pack 6. Finally, LineBacker 2 brought NV to talking after they had exhausted their SAMs. Unfortunately, many Buff crews suffered. But ended it at a cost. And Desert Storm we lost 75 aircraft. As for the MIA crew member. Hopefully, the best outcome, like the rescue of Roger Locker after 23 days evading. Good friend, Dale Stovall, flew the furthest mission into NV to rescue him. Chased down by 2 MiGs that fired Atolls at him. Time will tell. Check 6, SHFP

Annual Warbird Fly In. And one Owner, has had his based in SGU until recently, and other Owner, from Boise always comes. Usually, in his Alpha Jet. I'll be repositioning home, my humble Cessna A185F Amphib, there tomorrow. Unfortunately, our Mig-15 UTI, won't be flying, as we are still working on finishing up the replacement of the new canopy seals. We did, however, finally get the drop tanks hung after having to remove one for repairs. And we didn't need no Vodka, like Ivan and Vladimir, in the cold Korean Peninsula. Looking forward to visiting with those that come. Check 6, Dof- German Chicks in Dirndls and Beer (NSFW)

Loved going XC from Bitburg to either Furstenfeldbruck and/or Erding in the 70s for the Oktoberfest. “Springer” probably also remembers those Cold War days where we could pretty much do whatever, go wherever, under the guise of Training against the DRPCBs. (Dirty Rotten Pinko Commie Bastards). And, as back then in Germany, and back then in the US, there were a lot more “Hotties”. Now outnumbered by the 60% “Fatties” today. So Dibs on any, or all, of the many above...only need 1 at my now Elder “STAGE” in life (Special Time of Actual Good fun and Excitement)….And just for my 8 Second PBR Ride …if I can only last to the Buzzer. LOL Back to my Beer, Wine, and Whiskey before my wife cuts me off tonight…LOL Check 6- German Chicks in Dirndls and Beer (NSFW)

Delta has 130 million plus Medallion members alone. Say only a minuscule, 10,000, don’t spend $500-1000 a ticket for one year to protest. Well I think Delta will do the math. They will be offered early retirement to move on. Otherwise Pax will, now and then, ask who’s flying….- The Next President is...
