I apologize for venting. I just found out that another fighter friend is in final hospice and was having a few toasts. Didn't mean to be a jerk.

I bet you are sorry that you were too young to Go Downtown. Sure you would have enjoyed a stay in the Hilton.

Didn't have a clue back then...young, dumb, and just having fun...many friends bagged one or more in Her. Now just mentoring new owner/operators in their business jets. And looking over an old -1...my how things have changed. But I still miss Her.

Having lost many a friend, had several as Hilton members, and had a few that were fortunate enough to evade and escape (one twice). Now losing them to time, and now that I am getting older and grayer, I am less inclined to pass judgement. As I would have 40+ years ago before many of you were born. Just happy to be here.
