Harrier low-fly

I had to play that one a couple of times to really appreciate it. I love how the guy says he's not going to flinch, but ends up ducking.

Great clip, Steve.

After looking at the video a few times, I would say that the belly of the plane is no more than 15 feet AGL. Pretty wild.

EDIT - I should say that's probably either Kandahar, or Basra. If pre-OIF could be Kuwait.

only reason I don't think it's Kandahar or Kabul is the total lack of mountains.

anyway, whatever, it's impressive.

Nice! I'm sure that was Kandyland (Khandahar) because you can see the mountain to the north of the field when the aircraft passes and I remember being on the ground at Khandahar and seeing those guys take off and make their turn out at what looked like no higher than 50ft. That was pretty bada$$!

Don't mean to burst your bubble guy, but those are RAF Harrier GR.7s in the video. Not USMC AV-8Bs.

Just about the best low-fly clip out there!

Depending on who you speak to, that incident is characterised as either superb flying, or downright dangerous flying! I can't make-up my mind as to which!
