March 11, 20232 yr Is there a setting or some other method to not see a particular user when looking at threads? A "block" or "mute" option?
March 11, 20232 yr Author For one member, when I put in their name I got an error message: "You are not allowed to ignore that member." Just curious as to what the logic is for who can and can't be ignored?

March 18, 20232 yr Moderators (of which there are 12), are not by default allowed to be ignored. Many folks fall into multiple groups, but I think they only inherit "Can ignore" from the Moderator group. I've fixed your specific issue, @Blue
November 4Nov 4 There isn’t a true “mute” option for users here. The best you can do is use the ignore feature in your account settings. It hides posts and messages from specific users, but you’ll still see their quoted replies in other posts. Not perfect, but it helps clean up threads a bit.
