Don't have any idea of when or where I'll end up for UPT. Assuming there is a lake nearby with the right season, would we have time on the weekends to use the wakeboat?

Dumb idea? Fun? Thoughts? 

Great idea.  Your class will thank you and some of the best times you'll have at pilot training will be on the water.

Not sure about Vance but the other 3 bases all have good places to hit the water.  

We were on the lake every nice weekend during UPT.

Great idea. I think every base has a lake nearby. Easy way to decompress from the stress.

Yes, very much yes. Laughlin has their own dock to store it as well. The lake is the best thing here during the summer. 

Make sure you check to see if you're allowed to bring boats from other states wherever you go. Sometimes places have laws against this as to not cross contaminate invasive species or something. And try to figure out a storage location.
