Am I a bad person because I thought that was hilarious?

I have fond memories of sitting in a lawn chair, drinking beer, and watching the RV plane guys crash and burn behind our dorm (we had a 3500' grass strip about 500' behind my building). I appreciate the effort and enjoyment from building them, but don't see the appeal of "flying" them instead of the real thing.
