Boilermaker
I am in need of the IBM Forms version of a travel voucher. E-Pubs has removed the form as has every other outlet I know of to push people to DTS, but my unit still uses paper. Does anyone by chance have a copy saved they could send me? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

stract
it's on e-pubs. http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/?txtSearchWord=travel+voucher&btnG.x=0&btnG.y=0&client=AFPW_EPubs&proxystylesheet=AFPW_EPubs&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&output=xml_no_dtd&site=AFPW_EPubs
Boilermaker
I'm not that dumb. It looks like they're there, but once you download it, it just says they've been removed. It refers you to the DoD site, but it's only in PDF there. Edited May 2, 2015 by Boilermaker
stract
ah. I have a Mac so I can't open .xfdl files anyway. Why doesn't the PDF work for you? You can fill it out via adobe reader, can't you?
Boilermaker
I don't NEED it, I'm just on extended TDY and have to send a voucher back every month. It would be easier to just sign it digitally and email it than print it, sign it, scan it, email it.
stract
at your extended TDY do you have access to a NIPR computer? If so, it has Adobe Pro, and you can digitally sign shit to your heart's content. also, can't you do the accrual thing via vMPF? That used to be an option, not sure if it still is. Boilermaker
Okay cool, I did not know you could sign PDF stuff. Forgive my newness. I will do that, in the meantime if anyone does happen to have a copy of the .xfdl file, I'd still like to get a copy so I can do it from home. stract
Aside, if your unit is the one requiring the paper version, someone there probably has the .xfdl version.
Boilermaker
I suppose they may, in the past I've always waited until I came back from duty and filled it out by hand.
Champ Kind
So when is the AF ditching IBM forms for PDFs again?
discus
So when is the AF ditching IBM forms for PDFs again? They have been trying to justify the incredible cost overruns of PDF forms for years, and recently put in a proposal to cut all IBM forms, however congress is preventing it's retirement due to it's effectiveness. Champ Kind
I see what you did there.
LookieRookie
If it's a DoD level form you can find them here. http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/forms/index.htm
