(NNS) -- A U.S. Navy F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, Nev., crashed today at approximately 3 p.m. PST on a U.S. Navy range training complex, approximately 70 miles east of NAS Fallon. Navy personnel are en route to the scene. The Navy has not officially confirmed the status of the aircraft crewmember. The aircraft was conducting a training flight prior to the crash.
