As in can you subscribe to the daily pic thread and your phone vibrates when somebody posts? Or do you get PM notifications on your phone? I know those features can be put in the BODN app. It also has a lot of nice features on the Admin side. I get the notifications about PMs and if someone quotes me but not sure about notifications about a thread you follow. Not really sure what Tapatalk uses as the notification discriminator. On the desktop site, as long as you're logged in and not a noob, you don't see ads. On the mobile site, I can't limit who gets ads (yet, working on it). I'd gladly pay a reasonable fee for the app, I'd pay even more (maybe even on a recurring basis) - to get away from the ads.
