sowchinook
Curious, FTU, RTU, IQT "schoolhouse" RAG, navy, etc...Whats the difference? Are the titles airplane specific or something? Are there other names? Which one is currently used?

Are there other names? Which one is currently used? No real difference. In the B-1, the FTU (formal training unit) is where we conduct IQC (initial qualification course), sometimes called IQT (initial qualification training). RAG is "replacement air group" and is largely a navy term. RTU is replacement training unit, same as FTU. Schoolhouse, again, is an unofficial slang term for any of these units.
