Gotta love ignorance:

“These men need to be grounded for such a despicably base act,” said Kristin Simon, a PETA spokeswoman and case worker

Maybe we should send them to bed without desert too.

Given that there have been a number of incidents discussed on here recently that pertain to filmed events, Rainman's advice, "Never talk to the media", should be supplemented with, "Don't film it".

Maybe we should send them to bed without desert too.

I wish the Air Force would quit giving me desert.

If the sheep would've been wearing a reflective belt, this wouldn't have happened. Just a simple case of mistaken identity. If they'd shot the sheep, the AF would've held them accountable for the spent ammunition.

It could've been worse. They could've pissed on it after they beat it to death.

Sir, you have won the thread.

Everyone in the Air Force are pilots. I read it on the internets.

I am more concerned about them not in their PT gear and wearing reflective belts. That is just unacceptable. Find the nearest Chief so he can earn his pay!!!

Marine Corps whistleblower faces vengeance from superiors

After sacking 2 Generals this week, the Commandant is in some hot water as well.

Two pivotal events happened in February 2012.

First, Gen. Amos met privately overseas with Gen. Waldhauser and commanded him to “crush” all defendants. Gen. Waldhauser refused. Later, acting on a tip from Maj. Weirick, the defense team learned of the Amos order by interviewing Gen. Waldhauser. The attorneys consider such an order a blatant example of unlawful command influence. Gen. Amos also ordered Gen. Waldhauser to court-martial all the accused and discharge them — orders that Gen. Waldhauser refused.

A spokesman said Gen. Amos had second thoughts about his intervention and replaced Gen. Waldhauser with Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, who was in charge of Combat Development Command at Quantico. But the commandant’s legal officer never notified the replacement, or the defense team, about why Gen. Waldhauser was removed. Capt. Clement’s defense team considers this a cover-up that unraveled because Maj. Weirick came forward and allowed them to obtain a statement from Gen. Waldhauser.
