This actually happened to me. But the guy used a picture where one of the victims zoomed in on the nametag and saw my real name...and contacted me. There were about 3 profiles with my pictures (many pictures) and the dude was using the profile to pick up lonely girls. Its sad, one was devestated and I think actually sent money, but I dont know for sure about that part.

I just think if ALL officers at once started standing up, it would all end. Although until that miraculous day, I guess you get your pee pee schwacked from above... which is a crying shame.

Sorry guys, my big pet peeve. Talking about how tough you "should" or "could" have been, but in reality you let the enlisted guy be a complete ass, and you just smiled and obeyed him.

This gives me hope....when I was at Manas back in like 07, it was far worse than the died. 1. Got yelled at for backing up a van literally out of a parking space, without a spotter. 2. Yelled at for having my hands in my pockets DURING A SNOW STORM 3. I had to go post the flying schedule in the ladies dorm, and was told by the vice commander that if I "lingered" i would be subject to article 32. 4. went to get my first beer of the day, but was told I would have to wait 10 minutes since my last beer was 23hrs and 50 minutes ago. They literally allow you your next days beers 24 hours later...so if you had your last at midnight, you couldnt have your next beer till midnight the next night. 5. Someone in the squadron got chased down for passing the wing king who was running, told he shouldnt drive so fast he passes runners/ 6. Had the OG tell me "you should take off your moral patch, i mean i dont care the but wing commander would say something." I said "thanks for the warning" and kept it on. Really ticked him off but I wanted him to grow the sack to say "take off your moral patch" instead of passing the buck to someone else. He never said anything again. Here is the kicker...when we arrived, we were told the Americans were forced for the previous week to wear body armor the entire time. Supposedly there was a vague threat made to the base. All the other countries were walking around in bermuda shorts and laughing at our boys. There were some more stories but i cant remember them yet. But that was all from just a one month deployment! Anyway...glad its better.

I agree, it amazes me how people talk tough on this site, but then when called out by a shoe, they do exactly what the shoe asks and then bitch about it on the board. I hate when someone makes a comment (usually comments similar to REMF's), and the next 69 posts are people complimenting the persons post. Especially in the Leadership at the Died thread (why did we change it from the more accurate title of Dumbness at the died anyway?) where any new post gets all of us foaming at the mouth for new stories. Ok...now 49 people will compliment my post. Ok maybe not because Im not a REMF showing non REMF qualities.

Ya i was interested. Frankly I think REMF, while admirable for fighting the REMF doucher fight, was pushing for indefensible positions but I got tired of reading and seeing the tit for tat. The sad thing is I think he thinks he won. he didnt win, just wore us all out!
