  1. Received some information from the UFT governing office: Pilot slots slightly lower than previous years but not affected nearly as badly as they thought it would be. Looking to add more slots to URT, UCT and ABM so they still haven't ironed out the list. Conducting career releases now and looking at mid Feb release tentatively.
  2. Got it. I'll let you know if I hear anything numbers wise. Trying to dig a bit.
  3. Damn that would suck a lot. What is the source? I think it may be worth asking AFPC up front. The governing office seems pretty transparent. I am only applying for RPA so curious if it would be across the board. I have an older email I can look at to get the verbatim response but I believe they estimated more RPA than usual
  4. Does anyone have gouge in terms of total slots? After talking to the POC, I was told they expect a lower amount of applicants this year due to covid but the same or slightly more slots which is good news.
  5. Yea that had to be rough. Zero airmanship going into instruments. I have zero hours so I'm happy to hear it is back. Fingers crossed I actually get to partake. One aspect that does suck about all of this is the family situation. I have two kiddos and apparently most of the pipeline is TDY. I am considering having the fam follow me to Randolph if it is worth it. I'm deployed now so not looking forward to more time apart.
  6. Has anyone heard rumors that IFT is back on for the RPA pipeline? Apparently it was off due to COVID and RUMINT was that they may canx it permanently.
  7. Shocked at how little activity there is on this forum compared to years past. I'm deployed currently so luckily I'll be busy for the next two months before we find out.
  8. Last day before deadline! Just got word my package has been vetted and is gtg for the board! Good luck everyone. Hopefully one good thing comes out of 2020.
  9. @aero_pilot Yea you would need to go through your recruiter.
  10. BL: Do RPA selects for the UFT boards have any say for their follow on assignment since the RPA pipeline ceased doing drop nights? I’m applying for this years AD UFT board and was wondering what input the member has to their follow on assignment. I only qualify for RPA and with the new assignment process—if I’m tracking correctly— you get your follow on assignment first and then TDY to your training pipeline courses. It would be nice to have some say to the matter. Thanks for any and all responses!
  11. @aero_pilot that’s for those trying to go Officer. The UFT board is for those who are already officers and are tying to cross flow
  12. Can anyone tell me how the assignment process works for the new pipeline? I’ve heard you get assigned out the gate. Applying for UFT board and curious if they allow me any level of preference. Also, I heard IFT is back on
  13. Heard from the office that older physicals are being accepted now (ones that will expire in 2021). Deadline is coming up soon. I retook my AFOQT to raise the PCSM. Hopefully it pays off. Good luck people
